One of my facebook friends is having the following issue with the Sims...if anyone can help I thank you in advance....

Okay so I downloaded the Sims 2 with all the expansions from origin. It's incompatible with windows 8 apparently, so I run it in compatibility mode (windows vista). Regardless of the mode I run it in, it ALWAYS crashes when I attempt to make a family and ONLY when I attempt to make a family.

I am curious as to wondering how mandatory is it to report this form on my taxes? It will make a big difference on my federal refund, especially since I received two of them totaling just over $3,000. I could use all of the help I can get along with any links to reputable web sites.

I am trying to get a friend's laptop to connect to the internet via Ethernet cable and it is not working (the wireless is on there though he doesn't have a network set up, so I couldn't check that)

It previously worked before I wiped the hard drive and reinstalled Windows XP, though since he had difficulty with iTunes and other programs on there..i had to wipe the hard drive; now its stating that there is an issue with the IP address/gateway. How can I change this?
