My friend's iPod Touch 4th generation has a USP cord and an arrow pointing to the iTunes icon. He plugged it in to his computer, but it didn't show it in iTunes. When I plugged it into my computer it did show it in iTunes, and the only thing I could do was restore it. Is there anyway to get it to turn on without restoring it? He hasn't backed it up in awhile, and he doesn't want to lose all of his apps and pictures and stuff.
