I m a 20 year old male living in the southern US. My life would be so much better if I had the motivation to do anything.

My siblings (6 year-old brother and 12 year-old sister) and I survive off of a diet of peanut butter, hot pockets, and chips.

My siblings also refuse to drink anything but soda.

None of this is lack of funding; my parents just don t buy healthy food. I ve brought it up, but I get "You re welcome to come with us when we shop" but I not motivated enough to leave the house and I wouldn t even know where to start in getting my diet on track if I did.

My main question is where can I get information for a proper diet?

I d also like to give a quick shout out the Alabama education system for not making that a mandatory part in health class. Now I m 20 and I may not know how to take care of my body, but I sure can tell you that marijuana is a gateway drug and sex is to be reserved fora married man and woman under the confines of marriage.

I started gringing my teeth in my sleep and it s gotten so bad that my little sister woke me up worried that the house is haunted because she heard a rocking chair squeakin coming from my room.

Her room is across the hall, so it s got to be pretty loud.

I m going to the dentist Monday, but is there anything I can do now to prevent damage until I see them?

A freshman at my high school (one of those guys that use the words"swag" and "yolo") that constantly brags about how much sex he has and weed he smokes to girls in hopes he will somehow turn them on with how he objectifies women . I've been trying to avoid him, and have succeeded thus far. But he has gone so far I can no longer remain silent.

My friend texted me really upset and needed to vent. This guy has been going outside her friends house and just staring at the house for the last three days because her friend rejected him the three times he asked her out. They went to the police, but live in a small town with a police force stretched thin.They said they can't do anything unless he comes on their property.

I swore to my friend I wouldn't tell anyone. Her friend now sleeps with a knife in case he does come close enough. I want to say something to him with how he speaks to women though and maybe he'll be so ashamed that he'll stop on his own.

I have aspergers and this makes it difficult to express my emotions or communicate at times.Because of this,I have low self-esteem because I know being around someone who can't properly communicate isn't fun;spending five minutes with someone who uses the word "YOLO" or "swag" will show that.

My aspergers doesn't affect my ability to see right and wrong;it's a very mild case.I occasionally act without thinking and look like a complete idiot,I constantly beat myself up over things that I've said/done years ago.I also have this constant feeling of pressure in my skull that I have had since 5th grade.I feel very apathetic a lot of the times and when I don't,I don't usually have the facial expression to show it.I have a hard time being motivated unless I enjoy the class so my grade in everything but math,drama,and chorus is often low.

Is there a way to help people like me with social disorders?If not a cure,then a treatment?

I have high goals,but sometimes I feel that my disorder will get in the way of them.

Reading this is optional,but I felt it was necessary because I don't know how to handle my hypocrisy here.

I also know someone I go to school with that has a social disorder.Part of this makes him a pathological liar and he doesn't understand that insulting and being belligerent with people you barely know isn't acceptable.This makes him alienated from everyone so he constantly annoys people that are too polite to tell him to go away.I bring him up because I find myself hypocritical here,as I know he can't help his brain chemistry but I can't stand to be around him.

In order to get him to leave me alone,I make fun of his ludicrous stories so he'll go bother someone else that won't point out when he lies.Like when he said his grandmother's baptist church worshiped every religions god(s).

Is it wrong to treat him like this or will it help him grow out of it?NPR did a report on pathological liars and said it had to do with increased white matter and if it's a problem with the structure of the brain he'll never improve himself.Of course,the same could be said for me.

We recently got into a small argument,so I don't know if she wants to see me.I haven't seen her since Halloween because she is always busy with school or work.I'm worried because the argument was about her ignoring my texts for two days and I sent her around 17 or 20 because I was worried about her.

It turned out she lost her phone.She said I was being clingy (no idea why;I was just concerned because she never ignores my texts.) so now I'm worried if I do show up it'll make things worse because now on top of sending her 20 texts,I walked two miles to her house (I'm 17 but because of family issues I haven't been able to get my license yet).

On the other hand,we haven't seen each other in almost a month and it may make things better;talking about our issues in person,should they come up,would be more productive than through facebook.Really I want to make her feel better because this illness has made her misserable.

Should I go?If I should what would be the best thing to bring?

I plan on finally standing up for myself to a school bully next time he messes with me.I'm 17,little over 5 foot tall,and weighing less than 153.I've been eating carbs,weight lifting,drinking protein shakes,and using the kinect on my xbox (because I don't have a punching bag) since Friday afternoon.I've also watched several tutorials on boxing and street fighting.I refuse to fight dirty not only for pride,but also to humiliate him in a fair fight and show him his crap won't be tolerated any more.

There is this douche at my school who is very belligerent and over all just a dick.He's been getting on my nerves and now,the final straw,he's spreading rumors about why I got sent to alternative school in ninth grade.He's pushed me and my friends around too many times now and I want to show him I'm not going to take it anymore.The problem is I know he "wins" his fights by fighting dirty.I don't have too much of a problem from my groin as I can just wear a cup,but knowing his drug history he's reckless and could upper-cut my nose and kill me.That may sound too stupid for anyone to try to do;but to give you an idea of how much this guy place with his life,he fell asleep with a lit cigar in his hand after smoking weed he mixed with anti-histamines through a gravity bong and then drank two to four cans of beer.It's amazing this guy is still alive because as far as his stupidity goes this is just the tip of the iceberg.I need a method of self defense that can protect my face,but I don't want to be a coward and go to the office about it.If I do the rumor will spread more and he'll still be pushing people around.

I picked up a book about molecular biology because I'm very interested in how we got here and it was a cheap book anyway.When I looked through it in the store it seemed informative.When I got home and started reading,however,it said the following:

It seems like the author had a bias,but it's possible this is a legitimate theory saying that evolution was only in one area then sapiens branched into the other continents.

I'm an atheist and cannot really believe in supernatural,but I'm very interested in Buddhism because it isn't supernatural from what I can tell of the modern Buddhists.From what I see it's only a philosophy.Am I wrong?At the base of it,what is Buddhism and why is it important to you?

I'm an atheist and my girlfriend told me she was really confused about her belief and it depressed her because of how much it helped her through hard times.She was suicidal at one point and it was her faith that stopped her from ending her life.If she didn't have that reassurance that their is a divine plan it would really just break her.She isn't very religious,she doubts Jesus was the son of God,she seems to be more Jewish than Christian so she is very tolerant of everyone regardless of religious affiliation or sexual orientation.I've been just leaving it alone,but I don't know what I could say to make her feel better when it does come up.Please don't be harsh and don't insult,I love this girl.What would you say to someone you truly love saying this?

I'm a werewolf right now,but I'm debating on getting cured and turning into a vampire because beast form isn't as useful now that my smithing is almost 100.My magic skills are relatively low,though.I'd have to be paying a lot at the college of Winterhold to upgrade enough,which isn't a huge inconvenience because I have just under 40,000 gold.Plus I've heard some major cities are hostile on site if you're a vampire.

Ever since I joined the companions and lost Lydia my silver ore (and most of the time ingots depending on where they where looted) never show in my inventory nor do they show in the smelter.I thought they may be going to Lydia so I went to hire her and she didn't have any silver either.Has anyone else experience this?How do I fix it?Is it because I'm a werewolf?If it is,why can I still handle silver weapons and one ingot I got from a chest?
