  • Which books are best for self-study for the MCAT?

I'm taking the MCAT this summer, and decided that self-studying is probably the way to go for me. I was just wondering which books (from which company) would be best for doing so?

A lot of my friends recommended The Princeton Review, so which books from their set of MCAT books available would be enough for practice+studying? Would I need them all?

    Thanks in advance!

  • Where is the best place to snorkel on Isla Mujeres?

I am going to Cancun this coming August, and staying at Moon Palace. They give you resort credits which I plan to use for a tour to Isla Mujeres, but apparently you have to pay extra for snorkeling. Is there anyone who has gone on the tour to the island with Moon Palace (or another hotel) that can tell me how the tour is like? Do they take you to one specific place where you can choose to snorkel or can you go wherever you want? Does anyone have cheap but good recommendations (along with the price)? What else do you recommend doing on Isla Mujeres?

    Thank you in advance!

  • Jazz song/artist recommendations?

I'ved always loved jazz music but I never really had time to go look for songs that were good or artists either. Does anyone have any recommendations? I am interested in songs that are more on the upbeat side and have a lot of brass instruments (trumpet, saxophone, etc.).

    Thank you in advance!

  • Are there restrictions on where you can dive depending on whether you are PADI or SDI certified?

Because I am quite interested in marine biology, I am looking into getting SCUBA certification.

My family is thinking of going for a vacation in Cancun, and there's a place there that offers a course that gives you SDI certification in the end. I've mainly heard of PADI only so far, and from my knowledge, it's the bigger and more well known organization? Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Since I am quite new to this SCUBA diving world, I was wondering if certain places only let PADI divers dive, or vice versa? Are there any big disadvantages for being certified under either of those organizations?

    Thank you in advance!

I'm not sure the exact model number.

but I know for sure that it is a

Toshiba Satellite laptop running on windows vista, and intel Celeron.

In the front, it has an SD card reader, but I don't know if it can also read SDHC cards.

    does anyone know?

I recently bought a Canon T1i DSLR camera

and I was just wondering if I could use the SanDisk Ultra II 8GB SDHC card as a memory card and also transfer the pictures/video onto my computer.

    Thank you very much!

  • Any good songs to sing for SM Auditions?

I was thinking to audition for singing for SM Entertainment, since they're coming to Toronto.

Does anyone know a good song to sing for the auditions that are from an artist that is NOT from SM Entertainment?

My range is higher alto, to lower soprano...

I guess that guys songs would work, but sometime's they're too low.. preferably a girl singer?

Somewhere along the lines of First Snow by BoA (she's from SM D:)? Thanks!

  • Is streaming videos (watching videos on youtube, mysoju, dramacrazy) technically "downloading"?

I'm only watching the videos once and I don't think I'll ever watch them again, and if so, only once or twice.

  • Is the book "Korean for Dummies' any good?

I've recently borrowed it from the library, and after reading it a little, I think it's pretty good. However, I want to consider buying it. Any readers who have read most or all of the book? Is this book good for people who want to really understand the language, just not learn phrases? (Eg. learn the grammar)

    thanks a lot!

  • how to make your brush smoother in photoshop elements 5.0?

In Photoshop CS and I think Photoshop 7, there is a brush pallette that you can select brush options. You can check of shape dynamics, smoothing, and also the one under smoothing (i forgot what it was) to make your brush smoother, and not so much "noise". I was wondering if you could do that in PS elements 5? or how? thanks a lot!

  • a good camera to use for pro photos?

I'm kind of a beginner photographer, but I want a camera that can take REALLY HD and good quality photos, but is not too expensive (around $1000, maybe less) and easy to use. Also I prefer Canon brand, but you could introduce me to other brands you think are good.

Also, I want to know if there was a site where I could learn more about these cameras and photography itself, maybe like how to take good photos? thanks!
