  • Irregularity C2 Vertebrae?

I recently had an MRI to figure out why I have been having dizzy spells, lighthead feeling, headaches etc. The brain was normal however it showed an "irregularity in my C2 Vertebrae". What does this mean? A fracture or something else? I have not had any recent trauma to the neck area so I am confused as to what it may be and what will treat it. My PT said possible chiropractic or manipulation, however I have yet to see my doctor for a further explanation and just wondered if anyone else has had this and can tell me a little of what they did? Thanks

  • if my car is squeeling when the defrost is on.....?

and we have changed the different belts, what else could that be? The noise started when he changed the timing belt. But he checked it and thought it could be another belt. He had changed a couple other belts (at not charge, so I do not believe he is trying to rip me off) but it is still squeeling. It only does it when the defrost is on.

  • Can a Doctor force full payment?

Someone I know who is in his 30's had a stroke a few years ago. The doctor will not allow him to work, which I understand but the very doctor who knows he can not produce an income is also the same doctor that just required him to pay IN FULL (he did not give him a payment option) his $15,000 hospital bill stating that he would no longer see him as a patient if he didn't do it. He has also been denied social security so far. So, is this not allowed, or is this just a terrible doctor/person?

  • Question about Man/Woman Friendships.?

I have a long story that I will condense here but am curious to see what people think or if there are any ways to make this friendship work. I have a friend (one of my best friends) that I have known very well for 15 years (we are both 30-ish). I was in love with the guy when we were younger and my best friend asked him out knowing how I felt. And now she is married to him with kids and her and I are no longer friends even though him and I have remained friends. They are having problems and he has even went as far as to say he picked the wrong person and now seems to want to talk (and confide everything in me)and hang out with me quite a bit ---as a friend. I want to be a friend to him, but have to admit that every time I try to be the friends we used to be I end up with all those feelings again (which is annoying after 15 years) and don't know if there is any option that we are both going to be happy with. I always seem to end up on the hurt end of this although he does not mean to hurt me I know, but it still happens that way. Any suggestions? I don't know if I can handle being friends with him but at the same time he is one of the best ones I have ever had and don't know how I can end that friendship permanently either. Help! Any thoughts? Thanks for any, because I have been going over and over this and can't find one.

  • Question about custody....?

I have a friend who found out some things about his wife and I think ultimately would like to leave her. (it is pretty bad). The problem is that he does not only want to see his kids every other weekend so for now he stays so he can have them all the time. Anyone know anything about custody and what the different options are so that he would have more time with them? He is a good dad and is the one able to support them if that is at all a factor in this. Thanks

  • Can someone please tell me where in the Bible.....?

it says we should have a separation of Church and State, if in fact it is in the bible? I am asking for a simple reason, but am not clear on where this rule comes from. I can ask my pastor but was hoping to find out today. I am a Christian, and I vote according to that but I wanted to know if this is in the Bible somewhere because that changes the whole scenario to me. If it is, then i can somewhat understand the different sides of things but if not, then I do believe that my vote should be based on my christian values because then it would be nothing more than yet another government imposed rule. Can anyone tell me where in the Bible it would be if it is in fact there? Thanks

  • Please clear up something on the FOCA (Freedom of Choice Act).?

Can someone please tell me I am wrong and site some type of reference? From what I have read (some pretty accurate sites) and heard this act if passed would allow partial birth abortions, young kids to have abortions with no parental consent, people to perform an abortion with no surgical training, would not allow people (including faith based hospitals/doctors) the choice of not performing these, would not even require the sterilization of equipment, would not require other options discussed or the possible side effects told to the person (even though some may be 13 and not know this). I am disgusted as I read this. I have heard Obama say that he wishes this could be the first bill he signs (in so many words) and even if that were to sway a vote---the rest of us were listening---I would lose some respect for my government if this is passed and have already lost it for Obama just because he so agressively supports this. Any valid sources that this is not the correct information?

  • Have they changed the rules about merging?

I was taught that the person merging onto the expressway is more so the one needing to speed up or slow down depending on traffic. Now I do understand if you are in that lane on the expressway that you should be cautious to who may be merging but lately when I am in that lane I have noticed that the people coming on to the expressway do not slow down, never hit their brakes a little and I am having to because it's obvious they are not going to merge properly.....this is really annoying because I am part of the flow of traffic and should not have to be hitting my brakes.....have they changed the rules or something?

  • What would be the cause of terrible back pain?

I went to the doctor who gave me an anti-inflammatory and a muscle relaxer and that seemed to help some and I thought it might get better (It was a pretty severe pain across the lower back). Then it started to feel like I had a pinched nerve, which I could deal with compared to the previous pain. Then after not taking the medication for a week or 2 I woke up one morning and almost passed out from the pain of trying to walk. I went to the emergency room who did an x-ray and urinalysis and those both showed nothing. They gave me an anti-inflammatory and pain killer (vicodin) which is helping enough to get by but it still hurts. I have also noticed that I am most comfortable laying on one side but when I do the opposite hip area feels numb. Does this sound like something serious or possibly something pinched?

  • Need a guys opinion?

Does it mean anything if you (men) have a friend who is female (you have been friends a long time) and you are now starting to call her little pet names (Babe, sweetie, hun etc.) but never really have before? (Say over a 3-4 year time span of not doing this). Is this possible that it's just something you have started doing naturally or do you maybe have an interest in them?

  • Eating small meals throughout the day....suggestions??

I would like to loose 35-40 pounds over the next 3-4 months. I have heard eating small meals throughout the day instead of the former 3 meals a day works as far as eating better. Can someone give me some suggestions of what to eat say for 1 full day (food and portion size) that would possibly help in my goal? I also have very limited time and plan to walk for 1 hour 3 times a week for exercise in addition to the 2 fifteen minute walks I have to and from my car/job. Thanks for any advice, this is very hard to do!

  • What are some other causes of urine/vaginal odor?

I have noticed that I have a strong odor that I am not sure if it is vaginal or just urine. I know it is the urine, but possibly both if thats possible. I went to the doctor who did some std checks and a urinalysis which showed a possible bacterial infection that I took antibiotics for, however the smell has not went away. Any thoughts on what this could be or has anyone experienced the same issue? I am not sure what to do next considering I have already seen the doctor (gyno). Could it be something I am eating, or something that would not show up on a urinalysis? Thanks for any assistance, this is really frustrating.
