I have a Presario C700 that has never given me problems. For the past two days it's been randomly giving me a blue screen that says something about uninstalling new hardware and then restarting. What could be causing this? How can I fix it?

I haven't installed any new hardware or software in ages, I tried running updates but there weren't any. What can I do to stop this?

When I click on a track in iTunes, it says it's playing (the 'play' button changes to a 'pause' button, as if it were playing) but the time doesn't go past 0:00, and no audio plays. If I play a video, it'll play the video but not the audio with it. I tried updating to the new itunes to see if that was the issue, and it doesn't help. Windows Media Player does the same thing.

How can I fix this?

I have an 88 camry with a busted radiator, and I know a guy selling an 89 cressida for parts. Would it be okay to put the radiator from the cressida into the camry? I know it's okay with some cars to do that, but I'm not big on toyota so I'm not sure.

I bought a used car off of craigslist (lol) and it failed inspection, obviously. The people I bought the car from did a patch job on the exhaust with a beer can and zip ties hahaha... so I re-patched it with this exhaust pipe wrap stuff that was kind of like an epoxy ace bandage. Is that sufficient to pass inspection or does it HAVE to be a welded job? I live in North Carolina.

I have an 88 camry, and the horn is dead. I switched the fuses, but that's not it. Is fixing a horn a small repair I can do myself at home (I do a lot of my own repairs), or should I take it to a shop? I've never had a busted horn before that went past a blown fuse, so I'm kind of at a loss.

Actually I have a few questions. I have a 95 EG Civic (hatch) if it helps at all

1. Would it cost me anything to just get my car checked out to see if it needs new rotors/breaks? Or to see if anything else might be ****** up with it?

2. How much would it run to get the breaks AND rotors replaced? I know the breaks should be under 100, maybe 120 tops... but what about breaks + rotors?

3. My throttle cable is kind of rusted over, is that an expensive fix?

I know when you buy a car you have to pay the motor vehicle property tax... but what if it was traded? I traded someone a scooter for their car (no cash, just vehicle for vehicle) and I don't know what the taxes will be on it. Can someone explain this to me, please? I don't know much about the subject. Also, how much (estimated) will the registration fees and all of that be?

If it helps, I live in North Carolina and the car in question is an early 90's Honda.

The friendlier/dominant of my two female rats is acting a little weird. Usually when I open their cage she runs up my arm and plays in my hair and gives licks, but today she's being a little strange. I had to pick her up to get her out, and she squeaks every time she's touched. After a little while of her playing on the floor, she crawled up my leg and sat on my shoulder so I got to investigate. She'll let me pet her head and shoulders, but her middle/butt seems to be what's hurting her? I can't really tell without her squeaking and running off, but it's apparently her lower half. I can't tell if she's just being pissy and doesn't want to be picked up and thusly is squeaking and running away every time we touch her where we might "grab", or if she's hurt. My friend thinks it might be issues with their dominance, since the past few days the submissive one of the two has been "taking over" (humping back rather than just taking it) and getting to be more adventurous when previously she wouldn't crawl away and explore.

Earlier today I let her out and she was completely fine, being her rowdy self. She goes through "moods" I guess where she doesn't want to be touched, since the other day she did something similar.

Any ideas?

I really hope she's just being moody or something since I'm between jobs at the moment and can't afford a hefty vet bill.

I have two female rats and they pee all over everything. How can I get rid of the smell? I clean out their cage, but they pee all over -everything- in the room. I'm going to clean all the linens and whatnot and air the room out, but is there anything I can do to discourage this behavior? I know they just do it to be friendly and mark territory, but it's awful.

I bought a Dual Auto Charger for iPhone and iPod, being told that it can be used as a dock to listen to your ipod while driving (awesome) but it isn't really working. Yeah, the ipod works and everything while plugged in, but it doesn't play through the car stereo. It might be because I have a new stereo that isn't stock. Is there any way to work around this?

I got a pet rat a couple days ago, and she's been a bit of hell. I'm pretty good with animals, I volunteer at a pet shelter here and there and I've always had at least a couple pets around. Birds, cats, little rodents. Never a rat, though. A friend suggested getting one since they're smart and pretty friendly, so I figured why not?

This one isn't very nice though. She runs away and almost every time someone tries to pet her she bites. I understood it the first day or so, so I left her alone in her cage and gave her a cardboard tube to chew up/play with. Two days alter, she seemed to be a bit better, I was able to pet her now without her getting scared and hiding, and she would come and sniff my hand if I brought her a little piece of apple. Today, I tried to coax her into my hand to pick her up and see if she'd play, and when she came to sniff my hand she bit enough to drew blood. Needless to say I took the piece of apple away and haven't since bothered.

Should I just leave her alone entirely for like, a week straight? I've always been told that pet rats don't bite rarely ever, and are very friendly pets that are easy enough for even young kids to take care of. What am I doing wrong?

I missed my first three pills! A friend advised me to just not take any pills this month and save the pack for next month... but is that the best plan? I'm not having sex regularly (long distance relationship) so that's not an issue. I'm more concerned about the effectiveness wearing off cause of missing a month, or some weird side effects. I'd call the doctor, but the soonest time she's available is next month and that wouldn't help much at all. :/

I have this prank caller that's been buggin me for a little over a month, now. Except today he forgot to block his number... so I have it. Unfortunately I don't know where to go from here. I've looked up reverse tracking sites, but they all cost around 40 dollars to find out who it is. The number isn't in the white pages, either. Help?

I've been getting a lot of people telling me about these survey sites like workfor500.com and such to get some extra cash... do any of them actually work? How can I tell which ones are real and which ones are just scams?

My boyfriend and his family is taking me on a cruise to the bahamas, except I'm the only one in the party under 18. It shouldn't be an issue, except his mother doesn't know i'm 17 and wouldn't approve of it. Do you think I'll face any issues being on the cruise? Will they give me some special marking or something like that? I've already bought the ticket and it's already arranged, I'm just concerned about something coming up on the ship where it blows up in my face.

I was told that if I use *82 I could figure out who keeps calling me from a private number. I have no idea how to use this, though. Help? It's not painfully urgent, this kid isn't threatening me or anything like that. It'd just be nice to surprise whoever it is by letting them know I know who they are.

My labret is completely stripped, I think. I can't get it out, it's too tight. I cut up all the front side of the piercing trying to hold it tightly enough to get it out, but it's not working. Any advice? I'd be okay with cutting it off, I have plenty more bars, but I can't work with it in! Luckily I don't have work this week, but it's making me really anxious knowing I can't get my bar out....

My ex has been harassing me for months. I live in a different city now (due to school, i'm not running away from him hahaha) but he still won't leave me alone. It's not the standard "LOVE ME AGAIN" harassment, but it's obnoxious all the same.

He keeps dragging me into his stupid drama, and blaming things that never even happened on me. He convinced a group of people that his friend was cheating on his fiancee with me and he "saw us together"... even though i'm in another city. Recently I've been blamed for slashing his tires and a number of other trivial crimes that never happened.

He doesn't PERSONALLY talk to me, the only time i've talked to him lately is when he calls me at random hours of the night to scream in my ear and then hang up. Considering I have class in the morning, that gets old really quick.

Nobody believes his accusations really, but it gets kind of old having people call me five times a week "just to make sure"... cause he gets pretty elaborate with them. Whenever I post a myspace bulletin or send an email out to roughly 20 people to explain that "This is another load of BS story..." he gets all defensive and calls me yelling about how i'm making **** up about him and "this slander will not be tolerated" sort of speech.... yeah whatever.

I don't really want to take legal action against him since he's across the state from me and i don't think it would do much, not to mention it would give me the reputation of being "that crazy chick who got a restraining order".... but this is getting old.

i just came back from visiting my boyfriend and friends back home for a few weeks and i took a bunch of pictures of just everyone and everything that went on... christmas things, whatnot. when i plug in my camera it says it has to format the memory card though!! is there any way i can get the pictures back off it?

My closest girlfriend and I have decided to get matching ring tattoos. We've been there for each other for our first everything for over a decade. Her first piercings i was there to hold her hand, my "first time" I went and cried to her about it, I could go on and on. She decided we should get matching pinky ring tattoos! I thought it was a cute idea, but I wanted to know if getting a pinky ring tattoo was a horrible idea or not.

Neither of us has a tattoo, so it'll be a new experience. She's got the whole "pain tolerance" thing down, but I'm a little ***** and will bite my lip the whole time if it's awful.

So... advice/suggestions?
