I live in Hawaii with my boyfriend and our 2 year old daughter. We are splitting up and I want to take my daughter and move home to Wisconsin. There is no way I can afford it here once we split, and my entire family is back in Wisconsin. I think it would be best for her to be with me, since I have been a stay at home mom since day one, have taken care of her and done everything for her besides making the money. Her father says he would want to still be able to see her, but I'm not sure how that would work? anyway, I guess my question is, can I move with her out of state? Do I need the court's permission even though we were never married? thanks!

so, i dont know how to word this exactly, cuz im not trying to dis anyone or be rude or anything...

im really into makeup, and ive noticed that women of darker races (esp. mexican and black) are SO much better at doing makeup than the lighter skinned people ( i am white). they seem to blend so well and everything.. does anyone else notice this??

I used to have a pretty expensive "Rusk" flat iron, but unfortunately it broke. I than bought a conair straightener, it makes my hair straight for about 5 minutes lol, it sucks, but its just for now until i get the money and advice/tips til I decide.

i am torn between the CHI and GHD? i like the GHD because there is a model that can straighten and curl..

anyone have any advice? does your hair stay straight all day??

I have been getting some pretty painful cramping in my lower abdomen, starting probably about 2-3 months ago. It wasn't too bad than. But lately I have been having it happen much more often, and it hurts way more. last night I woke up to the horribly painful cramps and it hurt so much i wanted to pass out. most of the time when it happens i have to use the bathroom, but not always. they last about a minutes each and they happen for about 30 minutes to an hour.

i am not pregnant, so that isn't the cause. i am going to the doctor this week, but until than i wanted to get some input. thank you in advance

I am a first time mom. My daughter is 8 and a half months old. She eats the stage 1 fruits and vegetables 2-3 times a day plus her formula. She is allergic to the rice cereal. I am just curious as to what else she can/should be eating now? when do I go to stage2 and stage 3 foods?? I have checked several sites and I read different things, so It would be good to hear from you all. thanks!!

My daughter is 6 months old. She just started eating rice cereal and baby foods. The first day she ate the cereal she seemed okay, but the next day she had a huge rash all over her face, neck and chest. I figured it was the rice cereal, since that is all that I had fed her. I stopped giving her that for a couple days, and tryed it again once the rash went away. The same thing happened, so I talked to her doctor and he said to try some other baby food.

So for the past 2 days I fed her sweet potato, and she seems to like it, but she has a rash on her cheeks and chin. It looks kind of scaley and flakey on her chin.. not sure what to think is causing it??

she does have a doctor's appointment on monday, but I just wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions until than.

My friend has been trying to conceive for about 6 months (give or take a few, not exactly sure) She told me that her periods are very very irregular. So she started taking birth control to help try and regulate her periods so she can know when she is ovulating, in hopes of getting pregnant. She asked me today if this will even make a difference in getting pregnant (taking the pill) and I told her to call her doctor. But I thought a second opinion from you all would be good too!

So, I guess what I am asking is, will taking the pill make much of a difference in trying to get pregnant once she is regular?? any other tips are appreciated!!

So for the past two weeks or so I have noticed that my hair is shedding pretty bad, when I take showers there is always tons of hair on the floor and when i brush it too.. anyway, i have also noticed that I have been getting sooo many bruises all over my legs especially, and I am always tired, even if I had 8-9 hours of sleep. I have a doctors appointment on Tuesday, but i was just curious as to what anyone may think this may be? I have heard it could be because of pregnancy, I had my baby 5 months ago.. anyway, please lemme know thanks in advance!

I am going to a wedding next month.. I bought an all black dress, its kind of tight, and it goes around my neck (not like a halter, the dress goes all the way up) anyways, im trying to decide what color shoes to get, and what style is appropriate for a wedding.. i was thinking either black high heels and wear some bright colored earrings like red or yellow.. and maybe some bracelets, or should i get colored shoes, like red or turquoise... idk what would be the best choice, haven't been to a wedding in years.. (it outdoors, and i live in Hawaii if that helps) thanks in advance!!

so last night my cellphone died.. and that is what i use for my alarm to get up and feed my baby. she is 7 weeks old, and she slept 6 hours, cuz i didnt wake up to fed her. of course i ran in her room all freaked out, and of course felt terrible!! but she was still sound asleep!! so how long is it okay for a 7week old to sleep, until they need to be fed??

I just got it inserted today, and completely forgot to ask when it is effective? I have read in some places that it is effective right away, and some places say it takes about a week. Just making sure, I dont want another baby for awhile!! thanks in advance.

I have been with my fiance for a year and a half. He is a great guy, and we have a baby girl together. I have wanted to get married to him pretty much since we first met.. When I was pregnant I was too sick to work, so I had to get HMSA quest (free health insurance) which is why we didnt get married before i gave birth. (i wouldnt qualify anymore once i was married) But now that I am back on my feet, and able to work soon, I was wondering if it would be stupid to go to the court house and sign marriage papers for now, and than have an actual wedding once we have more money saved and when my baby is old enough to be the flower girl.. i dont want to just wait the few years, it may just sound stupid, but i would feel so much better, so much more like a family doing the court house thing for now.. what are your opinions??

Okay, I am by no means trying to be a b**** or rude.. but I just dont understand why so many women have to ask "could i be pregnant?" anytime you have sex, you have a chance of becoming pregnant!! even if you are on birth control, there is still a small chance!! I just dont get why people dont realize it!

my 3 week old is very constipated. I took her to the doctor and he told he to give her prune juice for a few days, which worked, but gave her diarrhea. Now she seems to be constipated again, and I was wondering if there is anything else I can try? I hear gripe water works..

I am 38 weeks pregnant. For the past day or so I have noticed a decent sized wet spot in my underwear everytime I used the restroom. Sometimes it has discharge, sometimes it doesnt. I also just noticed mucus like discharge, which Im guessing is the mucus plug.. So i guess my question is, is it normal to have this watery discharge (its not heavy enough to soak my panties, but is pretty uncomfortable) I have a ob appointment on monday, so I dont know If I should wait to have it check out or what??

I am a little over 36 weeks pregnant. I havent lost my mucus plug, and my water hasnt broke.. yesterday and today my lower stomach gets all crampy, but it only lasts for maybe 30 seconds at the most, and it happens about every 15-20 minutes or so. than after about an hour, it stops. do contractions sometimes start out as short mild cramps, than get worse?? or could this just be braxton hicks??
