I was with a girl I really like at the movie Age of Adaline. For about half the movie, we were holding hands (luckily, the theater had cup holder arms that could be raised) About half way through, I asked if I could put my arm around her and she let me. She put her head on my shoulder and I rested my head on hers, which she really seemed to like. Half of the time, I had my hand on her shoulder, and the other half of the time I would stroke her hair softly. She held my free hand across her body and I stroked the back of her hand with my thumb. It felt really sweet and nice, but I didn't want to break it for a kiss and I wasn't sure if she wanted a kiss. When this situation happens again, should I kiss her?

I've been talking to a girl a while and this Sunday, I took her on a coffee date. The date ended up lasting 2 hours and we were just talking the whole time. I paid for her drink, held the door, held an umbrella for her, etc. I gave her a subtle option to leave about every 30 minutes, in case she wanted to, but it was never taken and she only ended up leaving because she had to leave. Today though, I invited her to my soccer game to watch (she's friends with my sister, who would also be watching) and she said she had to clean. Didn't seem really interested even though she does like watching soccer. I know she could honestly just have been cleaning, and I want to believe that, but I'm not certain.

I'm asking this because any girl I've ever been interested has either not liked me at all, only wanted to be friends, or not lived near me. I'm fairly certain it isn't my looks. I'm not amazingly handsome, but neither am I extremely ugly. I'm a romantic guy, I listen to a girl's concerns and I'm an old fashioned gentleman. I write poems for girls and hand-write notes. I've tried being deeper and tried being more casual. I've even gotten help from friends when there was a girl I really liked so that I would know what she liked. I have no clue what I'm doing wrong. I've had a crush on a girl for five years, and we've been friends four years. A few months ago she dated my best friend, and they broke up to be just friends.
