  • stomach cramps?!! food poisoning?

my 2 girls & i had food poisoning (thought it was a stomach bug but my 6 yr old son didnt catch it but he was the only one that didnt eat the same thing as us wednesday night) my 4 yr old was sick wednesday night then my 2 yr old thursday followed by me (sorry tmi lol) well they had both stopped vomiting by thursday night! then saturday night my 2 yr old woke up cried & threw up, then no more until last night (monday) she did the same thing again! 12 hours later she hasnt thrown up again! in between this all she is fine, eating normally, playing etc normally too. yesterday she complained of a tummy ache then did some stinky farts (lol) followed by a normal poo! i think she may still be having stomach cramps from the bad food! my question is:

will the cramps cause her to throw up in the night? shes not having any trouble keeping food/fluids down & her poo has been normal since she got 'better' just cant work out why shes thrown up in the night 48 hours apart each time?!

she hasnt had a fever at all at any time throughout this!!

    many thanks

  • Fluoxetine (prozac) side effects???!!!!?

i have been prescribed fluoxetine (prozac) by my doctor 20mg for depression and OCD.

i am on day 12 and have noticed terrible nausea and decreased appetite; which on the pack i read its normal while your body takes time to get used to the meds.

i've also noticed increased anxiety and have had 1 panic attack!

my quetsion is how long until the side effect wear off and i actually start feeling better?

i felt fine until day 10!

any one with experiences would be greatly appreciated :)

  • a couple of ? on child laxatives......?

my daughter (3.5yrs) has suffered from constipaton since birth on and off, but the last fortnight it has gotten bad.....the doctor gave her some child laxative and she has had the suggetsed dose for 2 days so far (doctor said it could be 4 days before it helps) but as yet nothing has happened.

i have little knowledge of laxatives, i just assume that you take a laxative it gives you runny poo's lol

has anyone had any experience with their child and laxatives? did it work? do they make it runny or jut normal consistency? will she go alot or will it return to some what 'normal' ?

sorry for the cringey question :)

    many thanks

  • dog flea spot on and cats????!!!!!?

so i gave my 2 dogs a bob martin spot on yesterday for ther flea treatment (they dont have fleas its their next prevention dose)....i have now just found out it contains permethrin (a deadly toxin to cats) i have washed it off the dogs and washed any surface they may have brished against......the dogs mainly live in the kitchen/dining room (large area) and the 2 cats live in the rest of the house....they dont really cuddle wth the dogs or come in to much contact but i am now worried about the harm i may have caused with using this product.

i usually use frontline which i now know does not contain this toxin but my husband got the bob marting type instead.

what im asking is does anyone know if ive put my cats at a big risk of poisoning???

many thanks sorry if its long!
