The check engine light is on and it just so happened I was near an Advance Auto Parts store and got it diagnosed. Can't replace the spark plugs myself right now because it's an import and more complicated and risky to fix it myself.

I have:

beef (chopped)

carrots

potatoes

onions

celery

beef flavored bullion cubes

It's for two and I know I can throw all those ingredients into the pot w/water and salt, but I don't know how long to leave it for or which setting to leave it on (it has Low and High).

I then began to wonder: why is nudity and/or sex appeal a taboo in American culture? The biggest concern is that the question-er would have their picture shown around and would lose job prospects or respect among friends. Why?

I am considering joining the Air National Guard. I was home schooled when I was younger and received my GED. Now I have 27 college credits (soon to be 36). I understand that will elevate me from the position of "GED holder" to "high school diploma holder".

My questions: What was your experience with the military like?

And are my thoughts correct in that my college credits will adjust my GED status?

Such as make you depressed and negatively alter how you perceive things? Like make you feel, at times, slightly disconnected with the world, not at all the usual cheerful, on-point self.

We've all heard countless jokes and comments concerning social science majors. They fall in line with every liberal arts punch line out there. They range from the light hearted to the snide to the hateful side.

But I do not want to hear that now. I do not want to hear the negatives - I want to hear the positives. In YOUR own words, explain the pros of graduating with a Bachelors or higher in a field of social science. It does not have to specifically be Sociology, but I'd appreciate an answer that did focus on Sociology.

I'm doing a deep clean on the entire house so it will be ready for some repairing/decorating. Hopefully, working between 1-2 hours everyday, me + my mother will have this two-story house done in the next few weeks.

What I would like is advice on how to plan the assault on the house. Right now I have decided to work room by room, getting rid of clutter/trash.

My Dell desktop, which is running XP and is a few years old, is giving me this message.

I DON'T have any XP installation disks!

All the advice I have googled either needs the disk or is confusing. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thank you.
