I have a ford ranger that has a computer inside, when I start the car the voltage dips down because the starter motor needs power to start. Since the voltage goes below a threshold the computer shuts off while its starting. How can I keep the voltage at 12 volts for the computer to stay on? Could I hook up one of the small car alarm back up battery's would that give the computer enough time to stay at 12 volts while the starter motor starts the engine?

I had a little too much to drink and I met a girl and we both had a really good time, woke up and found out I didn't get her name and I forgot to give her mine. I'm a security guard in California and I have an open carry firearms permit. I was told by a fellow security guard that I'm exempt from the high capacity magazine law and that I'm able to go to a gun store and buy high capacity magazines for my duty weapon. Is this true? He said there is a code for it but he does not know it off hand. Can someone please tell me if this is true and a source to the code. Thanks

I know you can work as a security guard with a print out of your guard card if you did not get it in the mail yet, but I have my guard card. I'm waiting for my gun permit can I work with a print out saying its valid from the BSIS website? This is in California. Thanks

Hey, my friend just painted his door and thew out the rest of the paint, I thought the door was dry so I put my hand on it now my finger prints are all over it!!!! I do not have any extra paint and no brush is there anything I can do to remove the finger prints while its sticky or when it finished being dry? like rubbing a spunge on it or something?

My company has a contract to provide cleaning services 280 hours a week. That is 2 people in morning 2 people at day and 1 at night. We are understaffed and a new guy we just hired somehow got to go on vacation. Now the boss has put me on for 7 days this week and 6 days next week. That means I work 13 days in a row. I used to work 40 hours a week now I have 7 8 hour shifts. Can they make me do this or can I say. Sorry I can't do that? He said maybe he could get me one day off between the 13 days in a row. That is still not enough for me to rest. What are the rules in california. The company has the contract for 280 I dont have a contract saying I will work more then 40 when needed.

My friend is 19 and he is taking the written question test to get his drivers permit so that he can practice to take the drivers license test. He has already failed 2 times and the person said he can come back he has one more chance. What happens if he fails the next time? I already passed mine the first time with 100% and I have helped him I don't know why he cant get it right its all common knowledge but anyways what happens if he does not pass?

My work week is 12:00am thursday to wed night 11:59am I worked 52 hours 6 days now its thursday and i worked 5pm-12am they want me to come in tomarrow at 7am-3pm that is 7 hours off work don't they have to give me atleast 8 hours? also that is more then 8 hours and more then 12 hours in a 24 hour period. I will be working 8 days stright but on 2 work weeks since thursday is the start of a new week. Should I be getting paid extra for less then 8 hour rest and more then 12 hours in a 24 hour period? I have a wellsfargo Vista Credit card and I bought things totaling over $500 3 times from a website within the past 5 months and they have not charged me for any of it yet.
