  • Who should I start as TE for week 5?

I have some good TE's to pick from. I have Jimmy Graham, Evan Engram, and I have a waiver in to also pick up Jason Witten.

Witten is out of the question though. Green Bay has been the best against TE's this year, allowing the least amount of receiving yards against TE's and allowing 0 TE touchdowns.

So this leaves me to Graham and Engram. I don't know who to pick. Although Graham had a rough start to the year, his last 2 weeks were consistent. Engram has also been very consistent, but tends to get less yards overall per game than Graham.

I can't decide who to pick because the LA Rams and LA Chargers have very similar defensive stats against TE's.

The Rams have given up 148 yards and 2 TD's to TE's. And the Chargers have given up 206 yards to TE's and 0 TD's.

So should I play Graham or Engram?

  • -sinx * sec^2x identity?

I m working on some calculus derivatives and came across one problem where I kept getting it wrong. I finally used WolframAlpha to look up the answer and I found where I was going wrong.

When taking the derivative of sinx / (1 + tanx) there is a step where it simplifies -sinx * sec^2x to -sec(x) tan(x).

What identity is this or how did that simplification happen?

  • Wax, pomade, or clay for hair styling?

I was wondering if hair wax or pomade would be better for me? I don't want something that has a lot of shine or something that gets hard. I think another alternative would be styling clay.

I've never used any of the three and wasn't sure which one would be best. I tired to attach a pic but of course Yahoo Answers doesn't always work correctly.

  • Jeff Fisher, coaching career over?

I'm a St. Louis native and wanted to see Jeff Fisher fired long long ago. It never happened.

Finally, he got out from under Kroenke's desk and got the boot. Do you think any other team would hire such a losing head coach, or do you think his coaching career is toast?

  • Facebook profile pictures not showing up in search?

Just recently when I search for people on Facebook from a desktop or laptop, their profile pictures aren't showing up. When I find the person I want, I have to click on their name, and then it brings me to a page with all the results and their profile pictures.

It seems like a totally unnecessary step and has become quite annoying. Has this been happening to anyone else?

Heres a link to what it looks like.

  • How to use my struct from a header in a cpp file?

I have a struct declared in a file called powerStation.h. I also have a .cpp file called powerStation.cpp that implements the prototypes from powerStation.h.

The issue I'm having is in main.cpp, where I'm trying to call the init() member function. But it keeps giving me a compile error "error: out-of-line declaration of 'init' does not match any declaration in PowerStation"

Here is my code. For the sake of it, I included all of the code in one snip, but labeled each file accordingly.

  • How to scan array from index 0 to n-1, then n-1 to zero?

I have a problem that states:

You are sent o to a mansion with n doors.

You run from door 0 to door n 􀀀 1 and open all of them.

Next, you run from door n 􀀀 1 to door 0 and close every other door. (Example: If n

is 10, then you close door 9, 7, 5, etc.)

Next, you run from door 0 to door n 􀀀 1 opening every third door. (Example: You

    open door 0, 3, 6, ...) This is your run #3.

Next, you run from door n 􀀀 1 to 0, closing every fourth door.

     Etc.

You make r runs altogether. (Besides programming, you now know something about the

dangers of leaving your smartphone on, right?)

The question is this: how many doors are open at the end of r runs?

I'm a bit unsure on how to flip flop scanning from 0 to n-1 and then n-1 to zero.

Here is the code I have that always scans from 0 to n-1.

  • Help with some integrals?

I m struggling a bit with integrals to power of fractions.

For example the integral of 4t^1/3.

By using the power rule I can get to the point where I have the problem laid out as 4 * (t^3/2 / 3/2). I then have trouble getting the coefficient out in front correct.

Can someone show step by step with some small instructions? Thanks

  • Fantasy Football - Week 5?

I have a few dilemmas to figure out before week 5 begins.

Which WRs should I play? I have Will Fuller or Eddie Royal. I don't want to play Fuller just because the Vikings defense has been incredible. I tried playing two WRs against them two weeks in a row, no luck. I also noticed someone dropped Dez Bryant. So should I play Fuller, Royal, or pick up Bryant and play him?

The next is my TE. I have Gronkowski and Kyle Rudolph to choose from. I'm only hesitant to play Gronkowski since it will be Brady's first week back. Rudolph has had several productive weeks in a row.

The next is the RBs. I have Matt Forte active and Matt Jones on the bench. Pitt has good defense against the run so I'm not quite sure I want to play him. Jones on the other hand has been inconsistent. He had two good weeks, but Baltimore has pretty solid run defense too.

So my initial gut feeling is to play Royal as my WR, Rudolph as my TE, and Jones as my RB. Any objections?

To add a plot twist, I have Blount at my FLEX position. Should I move Blount to RB position which would give me Isaiah Crowell and Blount for the RB's, then I could play Rudolph as FLEX and Gronkowski as TE?

    Here's my full roster:

    QB - Matt Stafford

    RB - Isaiah Crowell

    RB - Matt Forte

    WR - Will Fuller

    WR - Sterling Shepard

    TE - Kyle Rudolph

    FLEX - LeGarrette Blount

    DEF - Denver

    K - Stephen Gostowski

    Bench - Drew Brees (BYE)

    Bench - Allen Robinson (BYE)

    Bench - Matt Jones

    Bench - Eddie Royal

  • Derivative of (u^3-1)/(u^3+1)?

I ve been trying to understand the simplified answer of the derivative equation in the question title.

I understand the quotient rule that I need to follow, but I m not quite following the simplifying steps used to get 6u^2/(u^3+1)^2?

    I can easily come up with the unsimplified answer of (3u^2 * (u^3-1)) - (3u^2 * (u^3+1)) / (u3+1)^2, after that is where I become lost.

  • Get a new Macbook Pro now, or wait?

I m looking to get a new Macbook Pro. The current Macbook Pro uses the 4th Generation Intel CPU (Haswell architecture). The 2016 version is reported to going to be using the 6th Generation Intel CPU (Skylake architecture).

Do you think it is worth waiting for the new ones to be released? Does anyone know when they will be released, and maybe what the price of the new Macbook Pro might be?

  • Parking Your Car - Back in or Pull in?

At work I ve been getting tickets lately for "parking in the wrong direction" because I back into my parking spot. I ve contacted the safety department about it, and asked them why is backing into my spot not allowed? The only answer they have given me is "it maximizes employee safety and traffic flow." They have been unable to give me any actual reasons why they make this statement.

Here are a few reasons why I feel safer backing into my spot:

    • When backing into a parking spot, I can pull past the parking spot to ensure it is clear.

    • By backing into a parking spot, the vehicles behind me are not in motion, so there are no surprises with oncoming traffic.

    • Upon pulling out of my parking space, I can more easily see the oncoming traffic by being able to slightly pull out and peak my head forward to see around the adjacently parked vehicles.

    • By using a back-in method, I can also more naturally see my surroundings and I’m quickly be able to look both ways when leaving.

    • By pulling out of my parking space, it highly reduces the chances of a “back over crash.”

    • The most common traffic accidents in parking lots is when driver(s) are backing out of their spot and collide with the traffic flow, another vehicle backing out, or a pedestrian.

I believe the greatest way to ensure employee safety in the parking lot, is to let employee’s park in the direction they feel most comfortable with.

  • Calculus: u-Substitution?

I ve been trying to solve this problem, but I keep coming up with the answer of .5 instead of .25.

    The question is the:

    integral[0,1] x/(x^2+1)^2 dx

    My steps:

    1. Let u = x^2 + 1, du = 2x dx

    2. Reevaluate the integral limits. When x = 1, u = 2. When x = 0, u = 1

    3. Since du = 2x and we have 1 x in the numerator, multiply the integral by 2, and bring .5 out in front.

    4. Take integral[1,2] of 2 * (-1/u)

    5. I come up with (-1 + 2) = .5

    Where am I going wrong?

Here is a Wolfram link that I used to check my answer. http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?t=crmtb01&f=ob&...

  • Week 14 Fantasy Football Lineups?

So I'm looking for some other's suggestions on who I should start for week 14.

Quarterback: Drew Brees or Blake Bortles?

Wide Receiver: Doug Baldwin or Eric Decker

    Defense: Denver or Carolina?

Currently for QB, I chose to start Blake Bortles. I've started Brees almost all year, except for his bye week and one other week. He usually does well, but last week his performance wasn't so hot until late in the game. Bortles seems to have more consistent games of 20+ points in my league. Brees tends to hang in the low 20's or below 20. He has had a two solid games of 30-40+ points.

Currently for WR I have Julio Jones, Eric Decker, and Danny Amendola starting. I was able to pick up Doug Baldwin today. If I'm going to switch out anyone it would be Decker or Jones. Decker has been very consistent almost always getting 10+ points, but he hasn't had any huge games. Jones has had some bigger games, but hasn't been so hot the last two weeks. Baldwin has had awesome games in the last 3 of the 4 weeks.

With defense I have Denver starting. I had Denver start all year except for their bye week and Thanksgiving week. I chose to start Carolina last week after several weeks of poor defensive performance from Denver. Carolina turned out to be a bust last week, scoring me only 4 points. While Denver finally went on a good defensive rally and scored 21 points.

Sorry for the lengthy post, but any input would be awesome!
