My friend just got engaged and I want to get her and her fiance a congrats gift...I usually do a gift that consists of four things...something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue...I have been friends with her for nearly 20 years so I have stuff that would be old but that would only mean something to me and my friend and I want a gift for the OLD part of the poem that would mean something to BOTH of them (like a picture of me and her is only meaningful to her...not so much to him)...for example, for my other friend, i did the same thing and I got them the "wedding singer" movie because it is about marriage and is set in 1985. But this new couple already has a ton of movies so I am sure they are covered in that area...Any good ideas for an inexpensive OLD gift for the 2 of them? I have new, blue, and borrowed covered...THANKS!

I know dreams don't reflect reality but I had a dream last night about my wedding, but the depressing part is that i wasn't even in the wedding and they had to do it a second time to make sure i was part of it and no one wanted to stay and be part of it...also my dress never showed up, my husband was no where to be found at the - and not everyone was able to show up to the wedding at all....i woke up feeling just as depressed as i did in the dream and i stayed in a funk all day....does this happen to anyone else?

I had a BBQ at my place a couple weeks ago just to celebrate summer starting. I sent out invitations, got lots of RSVPs from people, bought the appropriate amounts of food and drink, even made sure the dog was clean and half the people just didn't show up, some of them without calling or anything....I wouldn't have minded if I just got a phone call or email saying they couldn't come. A few people let me know they weren't able to show up, but some just said nothing. I feel bad about it...I would never just not show up.
