First I want to say God bless you for sharing the love and goodness of Jesus Christ in this forum. My question is this; in what other public forums do you share your faith and which forums do you find to be most effective? Have you had any fruit in seeing someones life changed by the gospel?

why would an atheist spend any time at all in the religion section, if i felt smugly assured there was no higher power, i wouldn't waste a second of my depleting life here, any more than i would be debating the existence of unicorns or pixies. Doesn't add up and no atheists are giving me a decent answer.

There is an add in the sidebar of my window that states a child's head can fracture at 7 kph, that's 4 mph for the yanks. How did they come by this information and how much did they offer the parents to turn a blind eye???

I mean, the prince of darkness should be able to make a couple of points without a teleprompter and I would expect the ruler of the powers of the air to be able to understand fiscal responsibility.

Deep thinking please, what is evil, where did it come from, is it real, how can you tell if a person place or thing is evil.

Have we gotten anywhere with rational arguments with the far left? Do you think a fundamental conservative gov. could turn things around. Do you think that the average Christian believes that God is in control and appointed Obama to rule over the US, if so, why?

How is it muslims and the American Left are able to work together, don't they fundamentally oppose each other?

What makes Christianity different from Islam, Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, budhists etc.

God is love, God will accept you no matter what, God will never stop loving you.

As much as these things are true, it is equally important to remember

God is Just, God is Righteous, God will Judge, God will condemn to hell those who do not repent of their wicked deeds.

And now the question, do you think the church in North America in its attempts to be culturally accepted is fulfilling the verse above.

each of the five sense are based on a concept, taking stimulus from the environment and translating it into meaningful information. How likely is it that this could happen by chance. Furthermore, science is based on the five sense, only what we can see, hear, measure is real. How do we know there aren't a bunch more senses that haven't developed yet and our understanding of life now is profoundly inaccurate due to the information we do not have the senses to perceive.

The stereotype; judgemental, condescending, always forcing God down other peoples throats, opposed to science, easily misled.

I have lived in a number of small communities over the past ten years and have literally met 1000s of Christians, If I had to stereotype them I'd say they were quiet, gentle, honest people trying to do their best to make a positive impact in their communities. They are busy donating their time and money to help those less fortunate. The Christians I have met have been a great example and a constant reminder to me that God is at work in peoples lives today.

What draws you into debating the existence of God, if some choose to worship then that is their right, you can go on your way and do your own thing, yet you linger, sniping, ranting...why are you really angry?

I was just like you until I prayed a simple prayer all alone in my livingroom. "Jesus, forgive me my sins, come into my heart and be Lord over me." I really did experience a sudden powerful transformation, there were no Christians around to brainwash me, I just believed. This same undeniable experience is happening daily all over the world to millions of people. You don't have to stay here and rant, you can go live your own life, many are called but only a few are chosen, are you here because of a still small voice telling you it may be true? Give yourself ten minutes, just ten minutes to be completely honest with yourself, you don't need a deacon to help you pray, just pray and believe.

Obama and Palin are both unknowns and have both made their share of mistakes, but conservatives have kept hammering facts about his associations and missinformed statements. Liberals however have been like vicious dogs toward Palin, throwing hateful lies around like candy.

All I've heard out of the Liberal, NDP and Green candidates is hate and finger pointing toward Harper, I'm absolutely unsure what else they plan to do. Oh yeah, Dion's going to tax hell out of industry and leave me jobless, but other than that I mean...
