Spiritually wondering, why do theists ask questions @ atheists, only to end up choosing a non-atheist answer?
What's the point of asking atheists anything if you're not even going to consider choosing one of our answers?

But Blitz, you're right. It's not a good quality. I agree with that.
14 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoIf the whole point of sex in "God's world" is about procreation, then why is marriage necessary?
Wouldn't it have been easier to populate the world without marriage? After all, animals procreate all the time, and they certainly don't need to be married.
24 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoIf Jesus was alive today, do you think he would be a socialist?
Just curious what people think, as these days "socialism" has become a naughty word.
For example, I think Jesus would support national health care. Maybe it's not socialism, but I'm curious what you all think. If the the Jesus we've heard about existed in this day and age, what would be his political viewpoint in the United States?
18 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoChristians: if you are "saved," can you act nasty toward others and still be allowed to go to heaven?
No intention of generalizing, just an honest question from a former Catholic with agnostic beliefs. I'm curious how this whole "heaven" thing works. Can you break some of the rules (such as not judging others, or perhaps even a commandment) and still be allowed in heaven as long as you are "saved" by Jesus (regardless if that person asks for forgiveness or not)?
If so, do you think that it is fair to non-believers that make a conscious effort to be kind to others to suffer eternal damnation for simply not being "saved?"
11 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoHow do I play copyrighted DVDs on a DVD/VCR combo?
I own a sony dvd/vcr combo, and I've discovered that some DVDs that include copyright protection fade from light to dark on my TV screen. Now I know in normal cases, the dvd player needs to be hooked up straight to the TV, but how do you do that on a dvd/vcr combo? There's a "DVD only" feature, but when I tried that, the picture came out black and white. Any ideas from you tech geniuses out there? Thanks.
