What battery options are available for my 2009 Kia Sorento with the 3.3L engine? See photo.?

The 124R battery fits like a glove and the retaining clamp matches perfectly but the polarity is reversed. Photo of the original battery in the vehicle.

  • Why 2009 Kia Sorento won't rev higher than an idle?

On the way to work I came to a stop at the bottom of the freeway off ramp. When I pressed the accelerator pedal nothing happened. The yellow engine icon light was on (first time ever), and the car was idling. I put it in neutral and hit the accelerator pedal again but it stayed at idle. I had to get to work so I used the gears to shift up to top speed of 20mph in 3rd with the engine stuck at idle. Once I arrived at work, I shut off the vehicle and took a quick look under the hood. Everything looked okay so I started it up and it allowed me to drive around the parking lot, but the yellow engine icon light is still on and it gave a small backfire. Anyone know why this is happening?

  • Why would HP4550 printouts be faded?

Pulled the HP4500dn out of storage and the 1st config page came out great, but then after that they were all streaked. I then replaced the Drum kit, Fuser Kit and Transfer kit and all the toners which are OEM HP stuff. Now it prints clean pages but they are faded. Anyone know why this might be?

  • Matching and Patching Vinyl Sheet Flooring?

After a kitchen remodel we had a few large pieces of vinyl sheet flooring left over. I decided to use these as a new floor for my 11 ft by 8 ft home office. The largest piece covered about 60% of the area but to match the pattern I had to use 3 more pieces cut just right. I tried to match and cut the edges the correct way but my knife had issues slicing through the two layers along the straight edge. I gave up and cut and glued one piece by eye and steady hand. It worked good and you cannot tell that there are 2 pieces. Now I have the other two open seams where the knife did not do me good and I really dont want to glue the edges until I am sure there will be no spaces. Can I patch a strip where it is irregular by removing 2 inches and replacing with an evenly cut piece. What can I use and do I need a seam sealer product?

Thanks in Advance for anything related.

  • I killed Vista & Loaded XP on a Vaio and I need the Modem Drivers?

The Vista on this Viao was loaded with tons of crap to market tons of crap. Sony refused to supply XP drivers for this model but they totally have them. When I tried to use a similar model with the exact same hardware devices it would halt and tell me that I am tryiing to install on the wrong model. Finally I went to each manufacturer and got the right XP drivers, except the Conextant HDAUDIO Soft92 Data Fax Modem with Smart CP (on the Realtek audio card). I have found about 6 drivers that all looked promising, but none work. I read a post that said Windows Update would take care of it for me but no go. Tried Conexant and Sony Live chat but no go. Does anyone have a clue how to get this device to work ?
