I am receiving a 29 gallon (or more, not sure yet) tank for Christmas. Currently I have one fantail in a bowl and it was a spur-of-the-moment thing; can't wait to get him into a proper tank. I want to get him a few tankmates and am wondering, should I only have goldfish, or can I have other types of fish; also, can I have a pleco? I know that goldfish can be a little aggresive. Thanks for the help!

My sister is 18, married, and living with our parents with her nine month old daughter. She sleeps all day and they are growing pot in the closet. My mom called the cops over last night and they released the baby to my sister and her husband; neither of them want to work (unless you count selling dope) and have barely scratched the surface as far as providing for the baby. My mom is the sole provider for all 3 of them and I just can't believe that drug use isn't considered child abuse. Not to mention the fact that they sleep all day and leave her in the swing, dirty diapers and all. my mother and I contacted the department of social services and they said there wasn't really anything we could do just now.

So, to reiterate the major question at hand-is this an open forum to continue the religious hatred that is prevalent all around us?

Can we at least agree that negativity of any sort isn't helping to make this the forum it should be?

I simply asked whether or not people are here to learn anything, or if it's about touting your own faith? What is so hypocritical of asking a much needed question about this whole forum?

Or to push your ideas and theology on others? Do any of you care to see how others are fulfilled in their beliefs, or is this an open forum to continue the religious hatred that is prevalent all around us?

Or is it their nature?

Or a little of both?

How many of you would believe I am out to bash other's beliefs just because so many of the R&S responders do? And really, how many of you would research some of my answers before judging me as a belief basher?

You guys seem to have the narrowest minds I have encountered. This makes me sad. When I say "you guys" I am referring to anyone who doesn't make an attempt to reach into themselves to find their own inner truth. Why do people so readily pick up another's truth for their own out of fear... or is it mental laziness?

I need to know, I am in a serious relationship but was cheated on in another relationship. I go to the doctor soon, but am really hoping someone can ease my mind. Between Edna and Isha, and the meanness inherent in our society, does anyone even take this seriously? People ripping people's pics, and now someone's probably got mine; forget it all; Humans will destroy this planet one way or another, and a forum such as this isn't helping us.... my real question here is how does anyone expect to create a world worth living in with all this hatred?

We have free speech. She wants to take this away. I disagree with the disgusting questions, but I am Anti Bush and my First Amendment Freedom of Speech is being taken away, little by little... Report her under "Incites Violence or Hatred." She has incited quite a bit of hatred....

Do you believe it is possible to save our Mother Earth, if only humans could understand that hatred is part of our animal selves, and not our soul-selves? Do you believe that on the world scale, that all this religious hatred is poisoning our planet? And how many of you will try to be more mindful, to stop hatred, if it meant saving humanity, and making life on Earth better?

I am Wiccan, and we recognize that all faiths are of the Creator's plan. That each individual incarnates to learn, set upon a predestined path, to achieve communion with the Divine. Why is it that the "Big Box" faiths hate us so much? Do you not realize that the hatred you spread is hurting humanity on the whole? Humans are killing Humans in the name of God as we speak, but Jesus taught LOVE, not HATE, and yet you slander our faith with lies and propaganda designed to incite fear into the hearts of those who are already afraid. Wiccans believe in Jesus too, you know. He was a divine prophet sent to set humanity straight. Muslims accept that he was a divine prophet, and yet Christians cannot do the same for them, with their Muhammad, who very well may have been Jesus reincarnate. And the Roman Catholic church excised some of the most enlightening things he had to teach us. For the Christians who will answer- have you studied the Lost Gospel of St. Thomas?
