  • Can I get 3G service on an iPod touch?

I just got on iPod touch that has WiFi. It's great for when I'm at home, but when I leave is when I would need the internet etc... the most (i.e. GPS). I don't need phone service, just internet.

  • Is Nancy Pelosi the type of person we want making energy policy?

If she bring us renewable gas then maybe she is....

In her defense everything is renewable in the long run.

  • What do you think is a fair income tax rate and why?

We hear that everyone, especially the rich, should pay their fair share, so how do you determine what that rate is?

Is the government a better steward of our money than we are?

  • Is it a coincidence that most of the stimulus package money will be released in time for the 2010 elections?

If it were really a stimulus package shouldn't most of it have been released immediately, or at least in the first year?

  • What can I do with my cat?

Unfortunately I think I need to give my cat away because I have discovered that I am very allergic to her.

The problem is that she is not the world's nicest cat. She only gets along with my wife and I and it takes her a long time to get used to other people, and she cant' stand to be around other animals. Even though she likes my wife and I for the most part she still scratches us every now and then. The other thing is that she only has one eye because she lost the other in a fight when she was a baby (probably the reason for a lot of her agression now).

All that said I would certainly miss her if I had to see her go, but given my allergies and the fact that my wife and I would like to have a baby soon (in which case we would not want the cat around the baby) I don't think she's worth it anymore. Also, I'm afraid that she would die if we gave her away because she has become so used to my wife and I.

    Any suggestions?

  • Do you feel like Obama lied about no tax increases for the middle class?

Does it feel like "Read my lips...." all over again? (remember that one)

Whether you agree with them or not, won't universal health care and cap and trade mean tax increases for everyone?

  • Do you think Jon Voight has seriously jeopardized his hollywood career by attacking Obama's policies?

We've seen how intolerant hollywood libs can be lately (not that they all are).

Is there a formula or anything? How do they prove it?

contributions to Obama? I can't imagine Obama would play favorites like that. But just maybe....

I guess the supreme court will decide now.

  • Is Obama kind of like God in your mind as well?

Is there anyone left who is willing to say that MSNBC is not biased to the left?

This is a little unreal to me.

  • Are term limits something both Republicans and Democrats can agree on?

Doesn't it seem wrong that members of congress can run indefinitely?

How do we get something like that done?

  • Do you think it would be a good thing for Obama to move the left of Chavez and Castro?

Is that the kind of change people voted for? Chavez and Castro have socialized more businesses, but given the size of GM and Chrysler Obama isn't that far off in terms of volume. Of course I'm not sure what else Chavez and Castro can nationalize whereas Obama is just getting started?

  • Why can't Republicans be more like Democrats when it comes to Judicial nominees?

The Dems were always nice and polite when George Bush nomiated blacks or latinos. I don't understand why Republicans have to be so mean. Just based on her life experience she should be allowed to forego the confirmation process.

  • Does it seem like public labor unions have a little too much power?

Seems to be a common theme with unions in general...

"In New Jersey, which faces a $3.3 billion budget deficit, angry state workers have demonstrated in Trenton and taken Gov. Jon Corzine to court over his plan to require unpaid furloughs for public employees. In New York, public-sector unions have hit the airwaves with caustic ads denouncing Gov. David Paterson's promise to lay off state workers if they continue refusing to forgo wage hikes as part of an effort to close a $17.7 billion deficit. In Los Angeles County, where the schools face a budget deficit of nearly $600 million, school employees have balked at a salary freeze and vowed to oppose any layoffs that the board of education says it will have to pursue if workers don't agree to concessions."

"Some five million private-sector workers have lost their jobs in the last year alone, and their unemployment rate is above 9% according to the BLS. By contrast, public-sector employment has grown in virtually every month of the recession, and the jobless rate for government workers is a mere 2.8%."

"In the private sector such efforts will still be subject to the demands of the marketplace. Employers who are too generous with pay and benefits will be punished. In the public sector, however, more union members means more voters. And more voters means more dollars for political campaigns to elect sympathetic politicians who will enact higher taxes to foot the bill for the upward arc of government spending on workers. That will be the pattern for the indefinite future unless taxpayers find a way to roll back the enormous power public workers have acquired."

  • Would oil companies be unfairly burdened by Obama's proposed foreign tax plans?

One of Obama's arguments is that multinationals have paid an average tax rate of just 2% on their foreign revenues. While this may be true for companies that choose to have operations in countries with very low tax rates, the oil industry goes to resource-rich countries and operates under tax regimes that are often onerous. If you look at the 2007 worldwide net income of the top 25 oil companies in the United States, the income tax was about 40%.

This would undoubtedly reduce their ability to invest in new projects and bring more oil and gas to market, not to mention the fact that prospects for additional areas for drilling in the US do not look good.

  • Is it enchanting that miss america contestants get more difficult questions than Obama did during....?

his press conference last night. We're in one of the worst recessions in history and no one really asked him about the economy except for the guy who asked about minorities in New York. Is the liberal media starting to recgonize Obama can't keep blaming Bush forever so they think it better not ask economic related questions anymore? I'm not saying that Obama has necessarily caused an economic catastrophe yet, but if he keeps invoking the Bush administration it's goign to sound old, if it hasn't already.
