  • What to do about a stray cat with one eye?

A very friendly cat has started hanging around my apartment and it seems to be in decent health except that it's got some yellow-green crust around the empty eye socket. He's beautiful, talkative, and dying for attention, but I can't afford extra vet bills (I already have a cat), and it seems that all of the nearby no-kill shelters are packed to bursting with strays. (I don't live in the most populous of areas, so there really isn't a very wide range of choices.) Since he seems to be healthy, I'm very reluctant to take him to a city shelter. Any advice?

  • German to English: Can someone translate this?

I'm researching the Winsome Winn and I came across this article. I would really like to know what it says, but I don't speak a word of German.

  • My schnauzer is limping?

My 7 year old miniature schnauzer has started limping recently. She only limps for a few minutes at a time, and she seems fine otherwise. It seems like she mostly limps after stretching out on the floor. Is she just getting old? Could it be arthritis?
