Although I can receive private messages on my laptop I can not send any. I have tried on another PC and its fine and I can receive and send messages on threads on my laptop. It just happens with Private Messages...any suggestions?

Up until the weekend just gone the Chat facility on Facebook has been working fine but since then it has stopped working. When you click on the box in the bottom right hand corner it remains stating "Chat Offline" and can not be changed therefore no one can see that I am online. As far as I can see there are no settings to disable or enable the Chat facility within Facebook and, as far as I am aware, I have made no changes myself to Facebook. I have spoken to other users and they say their Chat is working fine so it can not be the site.

Any ideas how I can re-enable Chat or what the problem maybe?

All I get in the bottom right hand corner is "Chat (Offline)" and nothing happens when I click on it. Is there something in the settings that controls this?

I have an Amstrad DRX100 that is stuck in standby mode. When pressing the on/off button there is no response. When using the remote the remote light on the box flashes but the box does not respond. Is there a reset procedure on power up that can reset the box as I can not access the menu screen to do a factory reset.

I have a set of lenses (various brands) which fitted my old SLR cameras (not well known brands in this country). Would they still be able to fit the new digital SLR cameras or if not can adaptors be bought to convert them? I am interested in buying from the Canon 450 range. Would they be compatible or do you have to buy Canon lenses?

When sending mail on Outlook or Windows Live I keep getting an error message stating that the server does not support a SSL connection.

Sending mail is fine. How do I correct this please?? Any ideas?? Receiving mail is fine on Yahoo.

Does anybody know if you can get the Hard Drive to work on a BT Vision box. Mine stopped working when I cancelled my contract, as BT are obliged to do, but is there a way to start it again without renewing my contract.

Can not overwrite but can not delete old data either...why? As far as I am aware the disk is not finalised. Is there a program I can download that will delete the data?

Although the DVD disks are rewritable when I try to write over them a message comes back saying the disk is not empty. Sometimes it says the data is read-only and cannot be erased and over times it states please insert blank disk. Why as they should be rewritable??

Tried to connect a new satellite HDTV box but it does not work. I have then tried to reconnect my old box back and that now does not work but was working previously to disconnecting it. I have 2 seperate feeds from my dish which has not been touched and neither of the boxes work on of either of the feeds. The dish has not been moved. Does anyone know why either of my boxes does not work now??

I have just obtained a new ymail e-mail address to go along with my existing btinternet account but I can not set it up as an extra account on Outlook Express. Any ideas on what the setup should be?

I subscribed to BT Vision for a couple of months but found it was no better than having an ordinary Freeview box and cancelled it. BT said I could keep the box free of charge and, which up till when I finished the subscription, I could record any Freeview programme using its hard drive. Now I can't. I still have the recording symbol button on screen but when activated nothing happens. Was this part of the package and BT was able to change the programming on my recorder or have I got a problem with my box? .

All of a sudden I am only getting limited connectivity. Haven't touched the settings and the repair facility doesn't solve it. What else can I do?
