  • I need a magick spell to reveal an enemy...?

I have had somebody do something wrong to me, and cause some problems. However, I don't know who they are. I don't really wish to go into details, but someone somehow is trying to stir up trouble in my life.

I have found plenty of spells that can punish someone or make someone tell the truth- but they all require the name of the deceiver. I need a spell where I can find out who the deceiver is. I'm thinking something physical, like a big spot on their nose, so I can see who it is. I need their identiy revealed to me.

Can anybody supply me with a spell that can do this, or lead me in the right direction? Thanks in advance.

  • My son calls me Daddy but I'm mummy!?

My son is 21 months and is doing fine with his speech- saying car, ball, "what is that?", "yes", "no" etc..and Daddy. But the thing is, he refers to both my husband and I as Daddy. Occassionally he calls me Baby! I just cannot get him to say Mummy even though I know he can say it...

Why is he doing this and how can I get him to differentuate between us?

I have always reffered to myself as Mummy and so does my husband so it's not as though he doesn't know. If my son is told "Give that to Mummy" he does do it, so he knows who I am. I can't help but feel really upset about it :(

  • World of Warcraft: How can I get a playable Draenei?

I've just started getting into WOW so apologies for the noob question. I bought Burning Crusade and apparently Draenei is one of the new characters added- but it's greyed out so I cannot select it. Do I have to reach another of my characters to a certain level before I can access the Draenei (I know this is what happens for a Death Night in the Lich King expansion pack)?

    Thanks guys

  • The most annoying TV advert!?

Once again I have t endure 30 seconds of that stupid man using the "wrong type of ladder"at work, falling off it, braking his arm and claiming thousands of pounds in compensation. Argh! It drives me mad. It has to be one of THE most irritating avderts on televsion at the moment.

My husband hates the "And, now she's is Oz...oh I don't mind..looking after Fluffy" stupid avdert about unlocking equity in your house and my mums dislikes the Vaseline ones because the skin cloesups make her feel sick.

So, which TV avderts drive you mad! Vent here :)

  • Can you abuse computer characters?

Channel 5 news (in the UK) has recently been highlighting the potential abuse of minors via the website "Second Life", where you can create a character and generally do anything, like chat, hang out, and it seems, in some aeas of the site, re-enact fantasies. Some of these fantasies involve people using characters that look like children.

This got me thinking. So- the characters look like children but the users may not be. So, is this abuse of the CHARACTER?

As technology advances, games like the Sims could begin incorporating Artificial Intelligence, and then there are games like Hitman where you can shoot and murder anyone. Could there ever be a time when you are abusing a computer character? What about sexually?

Who knows what technology will bring in the future, may be even robots (and no doubt they'll design one for sexual entertainment), will this bring about organisations for the prevention of cruellty to robots? WIll there be laws?

    What does anyone else think?

  • Could two parents be detrimental to a childs development?

I ask this because at the moment my husband is working form home (he's an author) and I am a stay-at-home mum and although I do most of the looking after of our seven month old son, my husband cannot resist helping out. I thought it would be prefect for our little boy to have all this time with his father and myself and of course they have a wonderful close bond, but, could we be raising our own little Lord Fonteroy?

Our son basically has both of us at his beck and call, he is an only child so my attention, when i'm not doing housework, can be on him, and my husband dotes on him when he's not working. Our son will be a year old when my husband starts back at the university so will have had so much time with both of us.

Do you think that this could be bad for our son having both of us around him, or is it in fact very good? How would you feel about it?

Just to clarify, we don't excessively spoil our son.

  • beetroot recipes for my little boy?

I can't seem to find any beetroot recipes for my little boy. I tried him on a little cube of it at Harvester last week and he loved it so I'd like to try some. He is six months old, but he is quite good with fairly lumpy foods although I can do puree.

Any suggestions would be fabulous :)

  • What can I use to make baby food?

I need something to chop food into small enough pieces to feed my 6 month old. We bought a liquidiser and it was useless! What should I buy? A food processor? A better liquidiser? What do you suggest and does it mean spending the extra money to get a decent one? thanks

  • Where to invest my £250 child trust fund money?

Hi, this morning I received the £250 Child Trust Fund money for my little boy from HM Revenue and Customs.

Obviously, I want to put it away for him in a decent account- but what sort of account shall I set up for him? I don't want any risks of losing it, so any very high rate accounts that have the potential to lose money- i'm not interested in.

I'd also like to keep it "locked" until he's 21 as he'll hopefully be more mature and respectful with the money than say if it's released when he's 18. I also plan to put away an additional £100 a month into the account.

Any ideas- which banks and types of savings accounts would be most appreciated.

  • The practice of throwing dirt into a grave?

Could anyone explain to me the reason and belief behind throwing dirt onto the coffin at a funeral? It doesn't seem to be explicitly for one particular religion. It seems so very final and so very painful an action.

  • How do emulators work?

For instance- the sinclair spectrum had all its games on cassette yet somehow they are now available to play on a pc through emulators. How do they get the taped game onto the PC? And how do cartridge games get on the PC? If anyone knows I would be very interested.

  • Where did the "Igor" cliche in movies originate?

There is always a hapless assistant to the mad scientist in every horror spoof going. But, where did this character, commonly reffered to as Igor, originate?

I thought he would be in Universal's Frankenstein- but alas, he is not...

  • Chihuahuas balls have grown back?

    Hi,

My mum has a male chihuahua and he was neutered about 4 years a go (he's now 5). Well, the last few days we have noticed that he appears to have "balls", or atleast, a definate area underneath his sheath.

Now, surely it is impossible for them to grow back isn't it? Plus, they aren't there all the time. He doesn't seem bothered by them- they don't hurt him or anything.

Is it something to do with the heat of summer or have they actually grown back? It's very strange and we'd love an answer.

  • Any idea on what this song is?

I've written below what I *think* the first few lyrics of the song are. I uploaded this song off a 60's CD from years ago, and never made a note of the Artist or Track title.

Anyone know who it's by and what it is? Thanks!
