HOPE 4 THE FUTURE:

I'm 35 and a Christian, i'm a bit of a prodigal son, i left the church and 19, not for parties or career. I never partied hard or anything, JUST a restless spirit. Anyway i was dazed and confused yearning for God. i crawled back to the Lord at 27, and I am 100% loving the Lord now, ever vigilant and ever more so daily, loving my Sabbath devotion and hoping to encourage others in loving the Lord also. God Bless, you know where i am so you can contact me anytime. Jonathan. xXx.

  • Are christians respected for their beliefs or mocked as if they are gulible stupids.?

    i know people on here are anti religion.

    i dont know how many visit R&S but...

    christians deal with similar issues as other people, its just that we trust in God an ancient and everlasting rather than mankind which is flawed and directionless....

    i have experience in mental healh and i must say i know doctors in that field respect christian beliefs.

    i talked and was interviewed several times, i know i was watched and listened to many times....

    it seems odd to me that there is so much hostiity rather than humaity towards christians.

    do you really feel safe with doctors so much that you would betray other humans including christians. thats what it feels like at times.

  • Dan Brown and his followers on yahoo, you are in denial, why?

    Dan browns book was a tool to take apatr christianity and leave us shredded, like the bible would of been, shredded inot bits and pieces with all kinds of destructive scholars coming out of nowhere to choose and refuse there favourite bits in an attempt dan brown style to assemble what THEY think the bible or God would want.

    Before his book cam out, they found scrolls.

    i know they are always finding scrolls but ths was different, it was borderline.

    we had the shroud with apparently evidence, i dont know where from but evidence of Jesus face.... well he had a beard.... ?????

    yes dan browns book was unread by me but i guarantee his supporters revel in wishful thinking of what nearly was....

    the bible in bits and pieces divided and scattered and all new publications limmer, condensed, the good bits, the maybe bits, if you like these bits....

    actually just before dan brown we were braced for the added bits, the forgotten books.... Sad.... and very dangerously true...

  • Dan Brown Judas not Jesus.?

    i dont reallly feel the need to panic and double check my bible with dan browns da vinci code in my other hand, which was the original hope they had for mr Browns book.... it did not work for me but i know it shook some christians, sadly.

    still those who remained strong held the church together....

    mr brown got his pay off, i understand he is now a multi millionaire to the tune of sevearl hundred million pounds.(blood money).

  • why are there the odd person on here whinning whenever someone mentions spirits?

    The bible states there are spirits, the people of the world watch factual programmes and newspaper articles with photogrpahic evidence on spirits and ghosts.

    what are they complaining about on here of all places.

    dont they read the bible or go to church to hear what sane chat sounds like.

    i am a christian and millions of christians before me will vouch for me that spirits are real, as are devils.

    what is the proble, you prefer to believe a lie....???

    you are allowed, but dont push your insane fears and notions on INNOCENT ONES and the NOT WISE and IGNORANT or on me, YOU CAN DO REAL HARM.

  • How many people test the spirits we meet. What tests are there.?

    Christians, Has anyone ever done properly as the bible commands and tested the spirits that enter there lives/homes.

    Atheists, it sounds like tome that you apply psalms 115 toyour lives. it is as if you have given yourselves over in fear of evil, or you are just in denial and belive you are the source of inspiration denying God or anyother spiritual influence.

    we are given excellent advicein the bible about spirits, they are not all good.

    we must be ever vigilant.

    it is too risky to be caught out, the danger is too grave and the problems we are at risk of are massive in size, surely to fight is the answer, to really test the spirits, spiritually, they must be Godly.

    we must also seek advice. and refer to our bibles.

  • how many people fear getting the holy spirit confused with evil and his illusion.?

    i hear at times talk about speaking to God or experiencing the holy spirit.

    in the bible when the holy spirit was given it was to an excellent person, i dont care how ordinary one or two may of been, you have to be excellent to be chosen by God.

    It was always known, people would recieve the holy spirit.

    dont you think if any one church really had the holy spirit that people would flock to it from all around.

    how can individual curches have there own version and differe so drastically in teaching.

  • Gods taht live amongst us? is this what is being offered to people to replace God this sounds like trespassing?

    i believe in good and evil.

    as a christian it is common sense to believe that God is good and the devil is evil.

    so i believe that people of the world are misguided to follow other gods, they are lesser gods, most likely devils.

    it seems obvious to me because the devil is looking to undermine God and those who are and could be swayed into believing.

    the common sense bit is the bit that says how can all these other Gods be good when the bible says Jesus is the way, there is no other.

    These other beings are beguiling, it is common sense to be, i think the proof of there sinister existence in our lives is our difficulty we have in removing them, no matter how beguiling they may be, some are blatantly not at all beguiling....then what.

    As people we are prisoners or slaves, smothered and suffocated by evil, trapped in our own wickedness.

    Do people really prefer to live with their so called Gods, or so close the are practically unable to escape.

    considering there influnce and power, and character/attitude(pick one) how can you truly feel happy or safe.

  • can you really believe that everyone who calls themselves christian is christian.?

    The bible speaks about false prophets, about false leasers, about the wicked getting in amongst christianity, about people who are taking advantage of christianities good name and walk publically but do not follow bible teachings but use them for there own gain, these ae not christians....

    Dont you think it is unfare to judge all christians on a few Wackos who do notknow what theyare doing.

    Some claim to of seen Jesus.

    Some claim to be Prophets, false prophets and teachers were predicted in the bible, if you ask me it is obvious it would of happened with all the reputation of christ and his disciples.

    calling yourself a christian does not mean that you use the bible or even follow it.

  • The bible says wisdom comes from God, thats interesting not offensive, why not discuss, maturely.?

    Yes interesting.... the bible says wisdom comes from God.

    it does, but God is good, he knows we are weak, and he knows some of you are using Evil.

    i dont know how that works but people seem to prefer it, i am not sure why.

    i like using my brains, i believe in talent and skills, education and fighting for my freedom.

    there is no need to be offended, we are all in the same boat, itis not a destructive comment.

  • Non-christians, if wisdom comes from God, what are you using.....?

    No offence, maybe you can offer me a dictionary definition, since they all seem so different.

    Then we can laugh together, we are almost in the same pit.

    No Dogs. No Dogs, No to Dogs, No Dogs Thanks, No Doggie, No Dog.

    Philippians 3 (King James Version)

    Philippians 3

    1Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.

    2Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.

    3For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

    4Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more:

  • Flase prophets and teachers. Here is a clue you will find nowhere else, Do you recognise anyone in this....?

    The King james version is such a nice read....

    Written beautifully.

    The World is the Lords.... this is amazing for help, bible study and shared experience can only lead to great and thorough lifesaving education.

    2 Peter 2 (King James Version)

    1But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

    2And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

    3And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

    4For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

    5And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;

    6And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;

    7And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:

    8(For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)

    9The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

    10But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.

    11Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord.

    12But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;

    13And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;

    14Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:

    15Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;

    16But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb *** speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet.

    17These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.

    18For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.

    19While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.

    20For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

    21For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.

    22But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

  • Christians ONLY, Phillipians says dont trust dogs, the bible is ancient. Dogs? How do i get rid of one.?

    its interesting in the middle east and in other parts of the world from pole to pole the dog is considered a dirty dirty beast. The vilest most grubby of the unclean.

    so much so to be called a dog is a serious insult. it must be as bad as being one.

    there is nothing lower and more dirty than this strange grubby creature that has also made its way into the homes of so many people, for some it takes pride of place, for others its just for work so lives outside, i am sure for many it is a stray serving its sentence as the rat, scavenging and living off carrion.... The bible says, feeding off the scraps that fall from the masters table, THE BIBLE SAYS....

    it also tells how they LICK THE SORES and the WOUNDS of the Sick and Lame who are Besset with Plague, Cankers, Leprosy, all manner of ailments sores and diseases.....

    That is the true character of a DOG, there is none like this hideous vile animal.

    Pslams chapter 22 also 2 Peter chapter 2 and lastly Phillipians 3 verses 1 -5
