At the park today I walked past this ethnic family having a BBQ. Like many others in the park on this day they were cooking over a wood fire (the park provides fire pits for this purpose).

As I passed I noticed their wood smoke smelled funny, and then I realized the wood they were using seemed to be broken up chairs and other furniture. Is this safe?

The way 'nothing' is automatically applied by some people is wrong here. True, it was the correct answer to the riddle in its original form, but this particular question has been trimmed. Possibly it was a mistake on missymoo's part when she originally posted it under jokes and riddles, but the question as it now reads allows other answers some validity. ).

Why do people call the 'missed call' number on their phone before listening to their voice mail? Our office has over 60 employees, with phones routed through the main switchboard. Every day I get a dozen calls from people saying 'yea, ya called me?, 'cause your numbers here on my phone!' Each time I have managed to track the calls originator down (usually after several questions) I find that the person who called did, in fact, leave a detailed voice message complete with their name, local, and the information that avoided the necessity of a call back. The worst are the paranoid suspicious types who refuse to give any information, but insist that someone called. If they are going to have voice mail, why don't they use it? How do you deal with callers like this?
