I just need a basic broadband provider with low cost and good reliability. This will mainly be used for Yahoo Messenger and Skype connections to keep in touch with relatives. (no downloading or gaming speeds needed)

Can anyone provide a good list of providers and monthly prices/speeds?

Hi, I own a 2006 Ford Freestyle. I really like the car and all of the room, along with the seating...but when I bought it, I went for the two bucket seats with middle console for the seats that are right behind the driver/front passenger. I know that there was a 60/40 bench seat available as an option, but cannot seem to find a place online that sells one (along with the middle seat belt assembly). The color/material would need to be tan/cloth. Just looking at the buckets doesn't look like it would be too difficult to change...anybody have any sources where I could get a quote on the price? Anybody ever changed out one of these seats?

(I thought about just changing the car at a dealer...I checked trade-in value and some dealers, but I can't get a good price for a trade-in and they want too much for a used one.)

It only changed the language on the YMessenger Insider...it's now apparently set to German for some reason. I already checked my region in the windows control panel and it's correctly set to USA but the insider window is german. I'd like to know how to set it back to English pls...thanks!

I was thinking of traveling to a village near to within an hour distance of Virac, Catanduanes...I have not read about any sort of Abu Sayyaf activity like in the southern islands, so I'm not too concerned about that...but I've read a lot of stories about NPA activity on the island though and I would really stick out and be noticed just by my appearance. A filipino friend suggested to hire a bodyguard/driver. Do you think that is necessary for that area? Are there any recommended hotels or places to stay in Virac? Thanks for your suggestions.

I've recently been tasked to find out if our CallManager system could support sending paging messages to a building or certain zones (instead of installing an analog pager system). I found out that Cisco Unified CallManager Express has a paging function but the full CallManager does not. I'm currently running version 6. Does anybody know if this functionality will be included in patches/upgrades?

I know there are some third party vendors out there that have some products...it seems kind of silly though that I'd need to go out and buy a whole new box and learn how to integrate it with the CallManager when it seems that just having a unicast voice stream capability would be fairly easy for Cisco to have included. Does anybody, any Cisco employees here? know why it was not included? Does anybody here have any reviews of the following two systems?

I've been looking around for a mattress topper and saw the tempsoma one at Sam's Club for $179...I went online and saw two out of three reviews didn't like it because it was 'too hot'. I went to a mattress store to ask, and they didn't have any toppers, but the guy recommended tempur-pedic. I looked online and see that is $532...which is way too much IMHO for a topper. So, is there a place online that reviews them, or what personal experience do you all have? I'm kind of leaning toward a memory foam type, but if you prefer another kind, please let me know why. Looks like the new dress uniform for the Army is blue instead of green. I liked how the Air Force dropped their desire for the blue tiger stripe camo uniform and went with something closer to 'real' camo colors, but why get rid of the green for the Army dress uniform?

I just heard on the radio, a caller to the Sean Hannity show rip him up and down with a diatribe that was mostly about a comment he made, stating something like "Obama supporters are kool-aid drinkers".

She said something like "clearly that term, kool-aid drinker, is a racist term" and "if you don't know that, you're uneducated"

I always thought it was an allegory to the Jonestown tragedy and a comment on blind adoration and obedience, regardless of any consequences.

I never thought it could be deemed 'racist' as in advocating one's race over another or promoting one or discriminating against another person based on skin color. Could somebody explain how it (kool-aid drinker) could be considered racist?

She just arrived here in Nevada, a very dry climate from a tropical and very humid climate (where she lived her entire life before). She's never had any skin problems until coming here. I've advised her to take lukewarm showers, limit them to less than 10min, eat vitamins (especially E), and use moisturizing lotion or oils...but nothing seems to be helping. Her skin is dry all over, but she has some itchy patches that look really dry (and even have flakes) on her back and legs.

Anybody from a humid climate that moved to a dry climate that had this problem and fixed it? Any recommended foods or vitamins/minerals/herbs to take? Any recommended oils/creams/lotions?

I have a logitech G15 keyboard...and have recently had problems that the keyboard is completely off until after Windows starts. I can't hit any keys to get to the bios or anything. I'm thinking that there could be something wrong with the keyboard itself, but just thought to post a question here in case somebody knows of any further tests. Yes, I tried moving the keyboard to a new computer, took it out of the USB hub and plugged it directly into the USB on the mobo and nothing seems to work. It just sits there until Windows comes up. Then it powers on and everthing works fine.

Just about every day I drive through Washoe Valley to go to work and then return home. This winter I've seen some really stupid drivers...something just occurred to me and I have a question....I'm not sure who takes care of 395, but perhaps somebody could pose this question and get an answer?

Q. Why aren't 'snow fences' put into place along side the highway where there have been multiple accidents due to 'blowing snow'? Sure, the fences won't stop everything, but they might help a little...

I've been hearing about the 'economic stimulus package' in the news lately...President Bush apparently has a plan and so does Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. They said that President Bush was going to show his stimulus package to congress today. I have not heard when Harry Reid is going to show his.

If anybody knows, which one do you think is better, and why?

Personally, I think it's a lot of crap, smoke and mirrors to buy votes. They 'give' us our own money now, so things can be bought (and sales taxes collected), and then they tax it, take it all back at the end of the year. So it's kind of like getting a loan from one of those 'payday loans' places...except that they're 'giving' your own money back to you (assuming that you pay taxes).

I've looked at Newegg and other places and can't seem to find a comparable ATI card that is AGP. I don't really know what is good on the NVidia side...any thoughts or referenced links are appreciated.

What the heck is wrong with you Republicans? Do you really think we need another RINO in the presidency? A POW who went through hell...OK I can respect that...but a majority of the things he's done while in the Senate...that I CAN'T respect or even stomach. This guy has been trying to get in bed with the dems on just about every issue in the past decade and trying to further his own ambition while trying to distance himself from the President...and he's going to be another GWB, in bed with Kennedy, in bed with the libs, trying his best to get the press to like him...ugh! Do you people forget his condescending attitude toward the public? Do you forget the McCain Feingold anti-free speech bill? Do you forget the McCain Amnesty and Sellout America plan?

Not only do I think this guy should NOT receive any nomination for ANY post...I think he should be brought up on dereliction of duty and corruption charges...even though compared to people like Harry Reid...McCain is quite pure.

If the country's going to be destroyed by a President following a socialist agenda, I'd prefer it be a democrat that gets the blame for it. Huckabee gives the Democratic press an excuse to blame the GOP for all the things they would have done, then elect Obama in four years for more of the same, whereas an Obama or Hillary now does it, that'll pave the way for a real conservative in four years instead of another F*&^*(%%in' RINO. Unfortunately, I don't think the country can survive four years of either Huckabee or one of the Dems so I'm not sure any of this matters.

Hi I recently started hearing a sort of echoing giggling sound whenever an IM window is opened in Yahoo messenger (in addition to the little pop sound). I've gone into the YM preferences and turned off all sounds and it still happens. Thinking that it may have been a windows problem...I went into control panel and turned off all sounds there also...but I still get the echoing giggle...even if I only click on a buddy's name who is offline. When the window opens, the sound plays. I tried to do a search on my computer to find the sound file, but couldn't find it. Does anybody have an idea?

does anybody know if there are any parts of the country that currently sell unsweetened green tea in the beverage section of the convenience stores or grocery stores?

I lived in Japan before, and really grew to love the unsweetened green tea...very refreshing on a hot day. There are a variety of companies that make it over there...including Coca Cola company. I've even written to Coca Cola to ask if they would market it here but of course no response. In fact it's very very difficult to find any sort of unsweetened drink...even the zero sugar ones are sweetened with some fake crap sweetener. Water just doesn't do it sometimes. Or maybe they tried a trial run in some part of the country that I don't know about....has anybody seen any sort of unsweetened green tea anywhere besides Japan?

And is there an online translation page or at least a page with some of the common phrases in that language? I know there are several types of Bicol spoken even on that island.

Hi, I was wondering if this is possible. I currently have a need to send an alert to a mobile phone whenever an email arrives in a certain inbox. I do NOT want to forward the emails, as they will always have an attachment that causes problems with the email service on the phone. The phone service is Cingular, and I can send regular messages to it with no problem using either (phone number)@cingularme.com or (phone number)@txt.att.net. The rules wizard in Outlook does not allow me to simply exclude the attachment on forwarding...is there another way to just send a short custom alert text message to that phone without sending the whole message? I was thinking possibly 'custom action' but I can't find anything that specifically addresses this problem. I'd like to avoid having to run 3rd party software if possible. If it can't be done, then pls let me know.
