When I answer questions, people often respond to me via e-mail and ask me additional questions. When I attempt to write back and answer them i find that their account is set up to not receive e-mails. Why would someone ask a question knowing that there is no way for you to respond?

I am not writing this to flame anyone, but I was just wondering. I know there is always lively debate here as to whether people are, by nature, carnivores, herbivores, or omnivores. Yes, i do know that we can get what proteins we need from alternative sources, ie: soy, peanuts etc.

Many vegans have made their dietary choice based upon their love for animals. What I wondered was if Vegans have pets like cats or dogs and if so what do you feed them? Since cats and dogs are definite carnivores do they do well on alternative protein sources?

Since we just had Halloween I guess now would be the time to ask. At best halloween is a Pagan Holiday at worst it is Satanic. The church should be doing everything in its power to fight this holidays, but instead they seem to embrace it. Seems like every church in the land has Halloween parties for the kids right in the church. Why is this?

She said in an interview and in her debate that she can see Russia from her home state.. Since the closest point between the two across the bering strait is almost 100 miles that's what I call pretty good vision. Or it is just another of her lies.

Most of the vegans that post on make claims that they are vegans because they can't stand to see harm coming to any animals.

1. Do you ever wash your bedding because when you do you are murdering thousands of bed bugs.

2. Do you ever walk across grass because you are probably killing many bugs and worms

3. If you caught head lice would you use medicated shampoo to get rid of them.

In theory your philosophy is great but how do you differentiate between what "aminals" you can kill and what animals you don't. Do you consider insects animals? If not you are just being hypocritical and drawing the line where it suits you. So if someone else draws the line at lets say mammals only and still eat fish and fowl who are you to comdemn. If they draw the line at humans and still eat beef its just a question of where the line is drawn.

I just made a large pot of vegetable soup, tasted it and something is missing.

I sauteed onions, celery, garlic and roasted red peppers and tomotoes in olive oil. Put them thru the food processor to puree and added them to my water to start the stock. I added leeks, green onions, sliced turnips, green beans, fresh dill, italian parsley, cilantro, oregano, sliced carrots, diced mushrooms, pureed tomatoes, and my usual seasonings. After simmering for an hour I tasted it and there is something missing that I can't put my finger on. Any suggestions?

In Yahoo questions under the category Society and Culture there is a subcategory called Community Service. If you do something wrong and a judge sentences you to 20 hours of Community Service can you satisfy it by logging on and answering questions in that category for 20 hours.

Why is it acceptable for stright girls to have girlfriends and refer to then as my girlfriend but not acceptable for straight guys to have boyfriends and refer to then as such. And why is it acceptale for two straight girls to dance together at a club but not for two straight guys.

It saves them in >mov format which I can play on Quicktime on my computer. I want to take these movies and burn them on a DVD which can be recognized by a normal DVD player and shown on a television screen. Do I need to convert the files to another format or will >mov work?
