I tried to open a folder in my documents, and it froze. Pretty sure this is the first time it's done it. Now, whenever I try to open it, it will freeze the whole documents and not let me open anything, until I make it close down, then it will open anything but this one folder. Whenever I try to open it, it will freeze the documents again. Please help, someone, because I have a lot of documents in that folder and I'd hate to lose them. Even if I restart the whole computer, it's the same. Thanks for your advice!

was not answered correctly. And this time I'll give much more information and back up! Feel free to add your comments. BUT - please take the time to read it before you critique it, otherwise your arguments are invalid.

1. As Christians, we believe that Harry Potter is wrong because it uses witch craft which the Bible distinctly says is wrong. “When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable way of the nations there. Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord, and because of these detestable practices the Lord your God will drive those nations before you."

(This is not my own words!) The protagonist Harry Potter in the best selling Harry Potter series of books and current movie attends Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to become a wizard. Harry and his friends are taking classes in casting spells, magical drafts and potions, transfiguration, history of magic, magical theory etc… They are learning to become “good” wizards and witches. Evil is represented by the “Dark Side,” reminiscent of the “Dark Side” of the Force in “Star Wars,” and embodied (or disembodied and seeking to re-embody) in Voldemort, the evil wizard who killed Harry’s parents."

First off, most people would read this, nod and say what's wrong? They're good wizards using good witchcraft. May I just say - there's no such thing. Harry still uses his witch craft to destroy things (I'm imagining) and eventually destroys the dark side. (Right?)

2. Harry Potter is written by a Christian. Everyone hammers this one because; "Oh, witch craft can't be bad if a CHRISTIAN is writing it." Let me say - it is. I don't know J.K. Rowling's stance on Christianity - it may be that she was deeply hurt by Christians - I really don't know, all I'm saying is that just because she is a Christian, her stance on Christianity might be completely different - she might have even grown up in a home without much Christianity - but she still considers herself one, and she doesn't really know the proper law.

3. And as for the statement in the above yahoo answers that Jesus associated with thieves, murders, adulterers, etc... Yes, He did. But NEVER in the Bible does it say He associated with people that practiced witch craft - and Satan is not the same thing (He is simply a fallen angel - though evil, is still an angel)

I just felt that I had to address this topic because I feel strongly opposed to people who will put on answers for all of us. This is just my opinion, and I'm not saying Harry Potter is wrong for all the people in the world to watch - make your choice - I'm not condemning you to hell and brimstone! While I've never watched Harry Potter, I know I've read books that would not particularly agree with what I've just wrote. (I'm not perfect!) So don't think I'm trying to preach to you please. I'm simply trying to put right what I think was wronged. Thanks for reading!
