  • For up to how long can you store water balloons....?

if I keep them in something that won't pop them, like a cooler. My family is having a party on Saturday and I was hoping to be able to get a bag (of 25) done each day. So, will they keep for a week?

If not, when is the soonest I can start.

    Thanks!

  • Is it too similar to Harry Potter if...?

I've read the Harry Potter books, and looking over the outline of the story I have always really wanted to write... I'm not sure if it's a little similar in certain parts.

It's not like there are wizards and witches or any creatures or anything like a Voldemort, but the main characters do attend a boarding school.

The school is in the US, not the highlands of Scotland. However, there are seven years, but that is ONLY because I wanted to be able to let the reader almost grow up (like I did with Harry, Ron, and Hermione) with my characters if I ever published the book and made it into a series. Basically the only similarities are:

    - There are seven years (starting at eleven and going until seventeen/eighteen)

    - I have houses (8 to be exact) that the students are placed in (no Sorting Hat though!!) based on their answer to a question. * Note: the houses are not named after founders, but graduated students

    - The students in the houses value a certain trait (creativity, awareness, friendship...) but, I do have one house that focuses on integrity (which is sort of like bravery) and then one that focuses on intelligence and one on honesty... but it's to a different degree than that in Harry Potter.

I don't know if a background of the story is necessary, but if you think so, leave an "answer" saying so and I will edit that in.

    Thank you so much.

  • Wooden detailing on Victorian homes...?

Okay, so this is really hard to word... but on Victorian homes, around decks, there are these really pretty wood (I think it's wood) workings that have 90 degree angles and usually are in the corners of decks or under windows. I know it's confusing, but it looks like this: http://www.homeplans.com/plan-detail/HOMEPW11706/v...

    Thanks!
