Is it true if inflation kept up with minimum wage it would be around $20.00 per hour?

I know someone who has two driving on a suspended OL and is still doing so to this day. I have made three reports to the police when I see them driving give them the tag number and area where they seen. Its been three months since first report and they still have yet to do anything. Why?

Two months ago my girlfriends sons father leaving a voice mail threatening to beat the f-ing shlt out of me as well as a text message to the same effect on her phone. She filed a report when it happened but didn't follow, so it is on record. When I go to the magistrate will this be sufficient evidence to press charges and file a restraining order, also what is the process that follows; do I have to appear in court with him and will he be fined?
