  • Please remark on the republican, democratic, and Independent parties or any other political party in America?

If Republicans believe that a republican form of government is only for the republican party, and Democrats believe that the Bill of Rights, like all rights mentioned in the constitution, are democratically bestowed upon ratification, and Independents believe it is their best interest to be free from biased judgment, then why aren't more Americans referring to the Age of Reason to be more reasonable and accepting of others differences?

  • If logical reasoning is an accurate test, is a republican form of government a partisan principle?

    Please answer the question.

In logical terms, true and false propositions must be known before a correct analysis is possible. Often it takes the form of if and then.

If a centralized government was the main theme in the federalist papers, then why did the authors of the federalist papers beat around the bush with the articles of confederation instead of outright stating that a centralized government was what was needed?

If a centralized government was more important than a republican government then why didn't the writers of the constitution put the phrase "centralized government" in the constitution instead of republicans form of government?

If the proposition that a democracy is a faction and by implication a disease (Federalist 10), then where is the bona fide truth that proves the supposition. Republicans believe democracy is a bad thing because of the Federalist Papers. The founding fathers didn't want to give democracy a chance because of the supposition in Plato's Republic and John Locke's treatise on government.

By these proofs, one can only conclude that a republican form of government is both a partisan principle and a false proposition.

  • Why do Republicans think Democracy is a disease?

I listened to the RNC tonight and heard Ann Romney speak about why Romney never fails, and Chris Christie is Governor of New Jersey, a State that has Democrats in it, he said. I've heard there will be two more days of the convention. The only issues they discussed tonight were that they like teachers, not teachers unions that had something to do with teacher performances. And something about 5 trillion more in debt but nothing about Bushes 10 trillion. I was hoping for a little more about their plans to "rebuild America" since their motto seems to be "We Built it." I've heard they think Republican Businessmen are the sole persons responsible for building America, but without much info on their plans for America from their convention, I decided to read Federalist Paper 10. I found this little jewel on why Republicans hate Democrats and Democracy. I've supplied a link to # 10, but you should really read all 85 of them.

This quotation from federalist 10 rang a bell when Christie spoke tonight at the convention.

From the last paragraph in Federalists 10:

"In the extent and proper structure of the Union, therefore,

we behold a republican remedy for the diseases most incident

to republican government. And according to the degree of

pleasure and pride we feel in being republicans, ought to be

our zeal in cherishing the spirit and supporting the character

    of Federalists."

  • If another country established military bases on US soil, would Americans consider it an act of war?

How can we Americans justify our military bases all over the world?

Can America afford to protect all it's allies and give them financial help as well?

Why aren't these military bases considered "unjustified occupation" of another country?

Is the Republicans global empire affordable anymore? Can we really afford to keep all these military bases open in other countries or are we just sending military staff to aide other countries militaries? I

  • Why to the Republicans refer to a lame duck congress? Are Republicans hunting for lame ducks?

The Health Care Reform Bill has received much opposition from the Republicans. Even Fox news attacks Health Care Reform.

    Read the House Resolution:

    http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/z?c111:H.R.359...

Read the Seanate version after amendments were tacked on:

Caveat: You'll need adobe acrobat reader version 11 for PDF files

    http://docs.house.gov/rules/hr4872/111_hr3590_engr...

Republicans, GOPers, and Tea Partiers are fastly getting a reputation of the Party of No when it comes to WE THE PEOPLE.

Health Care Reform is long overdue, and now, because of Republicans, WE THE PEOPLE will have to wait until the debate is over before the by laws of this bill will come into effect.

The US Congress and the US Senate are far from being Lame Ducks when it comes to legislation that benefits ALL OF US. Can you say the same for your home state?

  • Why are the Founding Fathers given beyond reproach status in our schools when being taught about US History?

Our Founding Fathers believed slavery was a god given right, that women didn't belong in government, and that the general citizenry weren't as smart as they were. After Lincoln freed the slaves, it still took another 100 years before the federal government and the supreme court were able to convince the general populace that Blacks were equals. Women didn't get the right to vote until the yearly 1900's, and the Education system is still behind as far as a student achievement is concerned. If the Federalists and Republicans had their complete way about establishing America's standing in the world, the Republican Form of Government they began in the Constitution would have included the phrase, "The United Republics of America" instead of the phrase "The United States of America. The Republicans of today would like to meet the Founding Fathers unmistakable judgment by renaming the United States of America to The United Republics of America. Democrats are not favorable to this Republican ideal. May Democracy forever live and breath in America. Bi Partisan politics may be a thing of the past, but being of sound mind and body are more important than any history book that has misrepresented what our Founding Fathers represented and wanted for America's Future.

    I'm a Democrat for life.

  • Why is there no History Section on Yahoo Answers?

United States history is taught in our learning institutions. Although most of the textbooks are written and published in Texas, the distribution of these materials to our learning institutions are not what you'd think they'd be. Each schools administration has the right to select which texts and which authors are to be used in our schools. I don't have a problem with free choice. What I find odd is that the texts do not seem to be covering the basics as thoroughly as they should. For example, no one at Yahoo answers seems to care that history, as taught in our schools, is not up for discussion. The Founding Fathers are given almost beyond reproach status. Yet they believed in slavery as a god given right, that women didn't have a place in government decisions, and that the general populace wasn't as wise as they themselves were. After Lincoln emmanicipated the slaves it still took another 100 years before the Federal Government, through the Supreme Court to recognize them as equal citizens. A woman's right to vote in elections took over 100 years to be enacted into law. Our public education system is still "under construction" yet the ultra rich would send their children to Europe to be educated nice and properly with the latest information. So if anyone at Yahoo Answers cares about what is taught in our schools, why do our founding fathers have such great reputations when they have a background of believing in slavery, believing women didn't belong in government, and that education was only for the richest in society? Sure, America has made progress, but what or who keeps holding America's progress forward. If you believe that Republicans will eventually rename America to the United Republics of America and that each state will be renamed a republic, please do not give your usual banter when responding to these questions.

  • The next big step for the Tea Party?

They all say the pledge of allegiance to the Republic nearly everyday. Since every State in the Union has its own version of the US Constitution (see links below), the Tea Party wants to give more power to the States and take away the powers of the Federal Government that they feel hamper the individual States inalienable Rights. So what they are planning next is to rename every State in the Union to every Republic in the Union. The United States of America will then be renamed The United Republics of America. To Republicans, the term "ratify" meant "change the wording of" instead of to "accept as is" because Republicans like a Divided States of America and like the idea of a United Republics of America. Will American Voters accept their drastic changes and proposals? If their efforts fail they will hypnotize every American with the pledge of Allegiance to the Republic and convince them to become Republicans.

  • On the Oil Spill, Illegal Immigration, and the Afghanistan War?

I'm just a small voice in the realm of public opinion but I have a few items of interest (questions) about the problems facing our nation.

    1) Why do the offshore oil wells in the gulf implement a safety device that "shears" the pipe in the case of a "blow out" when electronically controlled valves would be the modern way of stopping the flow of oil if necessary? It seems to me that their current "safety devices", if they work at all, would ruin any and all chances of ever "opening the valve / pipe" once the "emergency" was over.

    2) Drug trafficking and money laundering are the biggest problems on our borders and they are often carried out by "illegal aliens". Sure there are "private jets" that provide travel for elite drug traffickers and money launderers but progress in these two areas alone would hinder the "illegal flow." More thorough inspections should be done at the borders and airports for incoming and outgoing travelers. Doesn't National Security mean anything these days? I'm certain these searches could be conducted "legally" without any infringement of proper "search and seizures". Seems like arrests and deportations are becoming more and more imminent.

    3) Knowing that this quagmire of a war isn't just going to go away, wouldn't it be better to make a definite exit strategy because the government of Afghanistan is very corrupt and the Afghan people are too poor to implement a democratic form of government. Seems like their government is more likely a republican form of government which isn't likely to change for the better with outside influence. Opium trade, oil, and few domestic exports are not exactly beneficial to the general populace of Afghanistan. I wish I could believe that our National Defense depends on tracking and arresting the terrorists as they cross international borders.

If you could answer these questions or at least shed some advice, I'd greatly appreciate it !!!

    Have a great day !

  • After the Bush Years how do we recover the losses to the US Treasury?

With the Goldman Sachs investigation in it early stages, the IRS, the Financial Management Service, and congress are trying to prevent another crushing blow to the US Economy. Who really is in charge of recovering the losses to our US Treasury. Seems like the the General Accounting Office had really dropped the ball on the investigation until Obama took office, and they seem to be fighting the investigation & reform. Why? Don't they want to recovery the money and assets for the US Treasury? After all, it is the US Taxpayers money and they have a right to know what happened to it and a right to know that our money is safe. We are all trying to believe we can still trust our government.

  • Should the US Treasury, Federal Reserve, and Goldman Sachs implement all provisions of Title 31 US Code?

Of course there are too many tax laws, loop holes, and exceptions to ever recover ALL of the US Taxpayers money that was effectively stolen during the Bush years, but isn't there some way to insure this never happens again? Seems like the FDIC was a good idea. Isn't there some legal recourse that can be ascertained to at least make the US Treasury affluent again? To my knowledge, the Federal Reserve Board was implemented as a backup plan to protect the US Treasuries Assets.

  • When the GOP has unity again, what are its primary goals for the American People?

Since neither Party has completely identified the root causes of the Middle East problems, the reasons why the local and global economies had nearly reached a Depression, and since neither party can agree on why the Health Care Industry needs to be "reformed", why should the majority of Americans support the Republicans instead of the Democrats? Most Americans these days understand that the Republicans had the majority of American Support for the last twelve years and most Americans decided to support the Democrats for a change. I wonder if the majority of Americans will support the Democrats for the next twelve years.

  • How many followers of Dianetics and Scientology truly understand their principles?

The basics of Dianetics are from pychoanalysis (plagerized and redefined terms) and yet in actual practice do not work at all to heal the body or the mind.. The basics of Scientology, treating the spirit (thetan, from the greek word theta supposedly meaning spirit) are primarily mental exercises from "spotting spots in space" which may or may not be "anchor points" that are used to free the "spirit" from the body (compare exterior or out of body experience) to healing others "just by knowing what you identified as "charge" or "spiritual discomfort". The founder, LRH, couldn't get tax exempt status for his "modern science of mental health", so he created a "spiritual religion" to get tax exempt status for his "church". Dianetics covers the first 4 dynamics and Scientology covers last 4 dynamics. Evidently, he convinced enough people that his processes were working, at least apparently.

Since most of Dianetics and Scientology are based on "unworkable" and constantly "revised" principles. And it's followers still "believe" it works. Are they willing to testify under oath that their practices and techniques aren't at all harmful to human beings. Many people, including myself, accepted this new science as a science and couldn't care less if it were a religion or not as long as we were helping people to get better. Only the most advanced Scientologists were allowed to use their "new and advanced techniques" on paying clients. So since there are so many believers in the principles of Dianetics and Scientology, why hasn't there been "a technological breakthrough" in their church that so powerful and predicted by LRH to "shake the rafters of this universe and a few universes beyond"? Do we really know for sure that the "between lives area" is so occluded that we are unable to "remember our past lives" and unless we "handle present time problems" by paying for the help of Church Seniors, we may never know what our past lives were or who we were in past lives. Ya'd think that the many customers of LRH, and friends, would eventually understand they'd been "hood winked". I hadn't for a very long time.

  • Are the Colleges and Universities in the USA privately owned?

Many people pursue degrees in higher education in the hopes that they'll find their dream job. Many of these organization advertise that those jobs will be available when they graduate. 90% of the people who get those degrees do not get jobs in their chosen fields. They feel they have gone into debt by investing in their own futures. Seems like the ultra rich haven proven once again how ignorant the masses actually are. The Educational system needs to be upgraded and direct ties to the industries need to be fostered. America, who had the reputation of the land of opportunity, has been let down once again by the former ruling party, the GOP.
