I know I want a big school in a cold climate. I love snowboarding so I need to have easy access to good mountains. I have a 4.0 gpa out of a 5.0. i'm really laid back and like to party so i need a chill atmosphere as well. any suggestions?

I really want to be a doctor and i know getting into med school is very competitive. therefore, i want to go to a very impressive undergrad college. i have a pretty decent gpa (i'm excepting to get about a 4.35 this year so here is my ranking of schools i want to go to:

1.Dartmouth college (my dream college.)

2. Brown university

3. duke (doubt i'll get in)

4. ucla

5. uc davis

6. uc san diego

7. uc santa barbara

are those impressive schools that will help me get into med school? Any I should add or take off the list?

I heard that it is really easy to get into ucla med school after you have gone to ucla as pre med. is that true? if so, does that apply to all of the uc's (uc san diego, uc irvine, uc davis, etc)?

I am going to be a sophomore in hs so I have time to improve in order to increase my chances of getting into Dartmouth. Dartmouth is more then just a college to me. My grandpa and his father both went to dartmouth (does that help me?) and my whole life he's always talked about me going to his school. Recently he passed away and after visiting the campus I felt like I was with him. Therefore, I will do anything to get into this school.

I have a 3.95 gpa. I'm only a sophomore so I haven't taken the SAT's yet. I am in all advanced classes.

I volunteer at a local hospital (I live in CT) about 6-8 hrs a week during the school year and 10-12 hours during the summer. I want to be an oncologist when i'm older so I volunteer in the oncology department at the hospital. I also volunteer at an audobon 3 hrs a week. I belong to ACS club and red cross club. I have also played flute since I was in 3rd grade and made it into the top band at my school as a freshman.

I am planning on working harder in school this year- i didn't work very hard as a freshman- so i should probobly get about a 4.15 gpa.

Do i have a good chance of making it into Dartmouth- especially with my family background?

If not, what can I do to increase my chances of getting in?

My grades are good enough to get into both so I'm not sure which would be better for me. I'm gonna be pre-med. I want an impressive school but I don't want it to be so challenging that my grades may start to slip. Which would you recommend based on pre-med programs, % accepted into med school, student life, housing, campus and surrounding city/location. Academics/med school are the most important to me but I also care about housing/campus/student life.

i want to become an oncologist and i was looking into how i become one. one one of the websites it said "take 4 years undergrad college and then 4 years medical school or the 6 year plan." but it didn't elaborate on the 6 year plan. what is it exactly?

i'm a girl and i've always thought about being with guys. sometimes i would get small feelings for girls but i thought it was nothing. i saw a video of two girls going at it and it got me really turned on. all i could see myself doing is being one of those girls. now i watch stuff like that a lot. i still have crushes on guys and stuff but now i think i look at girls differently. am i bi then?

I really want to volunteer at a camp for kids with cancer in new england. I'd like to be a counsler but any job will work, also I would like it to be a residential camp (overnight camp). I'm only 14 though and a lot of places want people that are older. Does anybody know of any camps that fit my criteria?!

I'm 14 yrs old and have had my period for almost 2 years now. I'm a swimmer so i tried using tampons cause obviously i need to swim. but the tampon wouldn't go up. I tried different positions and different brands but nothing worked, it would always go a little bit up and then just stop. i'd try and push harder but then it would really work. is it possible not to be able to use a tampon? does that mean i won't be able to have sex? I really need to be able to use a tampon to swim so please help!!
