Im unable to hear the audio of the laptop on the LCD .. I have a cord which i connect to the speaker output of the laptop n the other end goes to the input on the LCD which is just next to the VGA input in the LCD but still there is no audio. Please help .

I also used a cable which took the audio output from my laptop and took it to the input audio socket which is right next to the VGA socket behind the tv but there was no sound when i changed my TV settings to PC. What is the issue ?

I bought a new laptop from dell. It has windows vista preinstalled. The total hard drive was 160gb when the laptop first came into my hands. It had only 2 partitions. OS(C:) and Recovery(E:) whereas D: is for External ROM. I wanted to re-partition my had disk so i went to disk partition, chose OS(C:), shrinked it to make a new partition of 40GB. The problem is that i cant find this 40gb now.
What to do ?

I wanted to know few more words like oxymoron,maxim,acronym,eponym,pseudonym etc..actually..the whole point is that an exam is coming up and in that,10 statements are there and questions like "which sentence used an oxymoron" are asked..so if i have a list off all such words which mean something ,ill be better prepared.
