My name is Anna. I am 23 years old. I have two dogs, Carlin and Lewis, named after my favorite comedians.They are both rescues and came to me as adults with hard pasts. I have a green iguana named Baranby and I have a lot of experience with other reptiles and amphibians as well. I also have six ferrets named Foofu, Chez Chez, Dawn-Rose, Lucinda, Thomas, and Black Jack. Ferrets are my passion and I have devoted my life to them and their rescue and care. I am in college right now earning my business degree so that I can open my own non-profit ferret rescue to give back to the animals that have given so much to me.
Can I grow african violets on my windowsill in Michigan?
Inside windowsill, closed window. Would the winter temperatures outside cause the plant to die even the the plant would be inside where it is heated? I was wondering because the plant would be so close to the glass. I have no experience with african violets but I find them very attractive and have been looking up a lot of information on them. Thank you.

Echeveria? Pachyveria? Please help ID these three bluish green plants?
I think the one at 11 o'clock is a pachyveria, possibly glauca? I can't be sure. The one at 1 o'clock I think is echeveria, possibly elegans? Not sure on that one either. 6 o'clock is throwing me but I think it's an echeveria. Please help.

They are all healthy but I want insurance to cover adrenal disease, insulinoma, and their treatments. I realize there is likely a co-pay but I want one with a lower co-pay for possibly a higher premium. My first ferret died of polycystic kidney disease and it was very costly getting his treatments and paying the vet visits.

How do I get past all that we've been through together? He has hurt me in the past but I broke up with him because our relationship wasn't working. He hasn't done anything wrong lately. He is taking it well but we have to live together until he can find a place to go. Because of the size of our house we have to share a bed, we don't have a sofa. How do I keep from breaking down and telling him I'm sorry and getting back together? I don't like hurting him at all. To avoid my African dwarf frogs from getting their little webbed hands and feet caught? Can I use pantyhose? If so, how do I attach it? What about those little sponges that they sell for hermit crabs to drink from? Could I cut a slit in one of those and fit it over my intake tube?

It is like it is immobile and clamped together. I am thinking it may have been burned on a heater or caught in a filter. I just brought him and three others home today and noticed something was up. I cannot find much info on dwarf frog illness and disease but I took a short video. It is the left back foot. At first glance it looks normal, if a bit yellowy, but immobile.

The brand and the type if possible. My dog was eating Taste of the Wild but went off food. My vet got him eating Purina Pro Plan wet food but I know it isn't high quality so once he gains his weight back and I see the vet again to make sure that the cause wasn't cancer I want to switch to a better food. He will no longer touch Taste of the Wild, any of the flavors.

My guinea pig gets a mat or two on his bum everyday. I try to untangle them but he sometimes lurches away from me and fur gets pulled out. Now, I'm trying to keep him in show coat so I can't cut his fur off and I can't deal with this everyday because he will grow to associate me with pain and unhappiness. I just got him and haven't had this problem with my other texels, especially not to this degree! What can I do to calm him down enough for me to untangle his fur? Can I give him melatonin? I give that to my dog when it's storming outside to chill him out. If so, what dose? I'm going to try detangler.

I am going to be setting up my first planted tank so I'm sort of a noob. Does it ever need to be likr dug up and new put in? And what about supplements, root tabs and such. Also, what would you recommend layering with the eco if anything?
