  • Conjugaison "avoir pu été"?

    Bonjour, j'ai un doute:

La liste a pu être analysée.

Est-ce correct d'appliquer le féminin "analysée" dans ce cas?

  • ATA/IDE cable gender changer question?

Hi, I have a device with a 40-pins male connector (exactly the same as ATA/IDE connector). This device normally plug directly on a 40-pins female connector.

I want to move this device away from it's "base" connector. So at first I tried using a normal IDE cable (with female connectors at both ends) and built a homemade gender changer cable by plugging a "2x20 male pin header" at one end of the cable and then connected it to the "base"...Understand? But it didn't work, the pinout was reversed...

    Instead of

    1----20

    21---40

    It was reversed to

    21---40

    1----20

So I was wondering, if I buy a "true" gender changer cable (aka, IDE extender) will I have the same problem?

  • 240V à la prise... Bientôt 250V?

    Bonjour,

  • If I take a picture of a believer, do I steal his soul?

It's true because I've read it in a book. Or maybe it's no longer true if I'm using digital camera? It's about time for the global elite to update the holy books for some clarifications about technology...What do you think?

  • Christians, fellow atheists, let's agree about at least one thing OK?

I'm habitually anti violence, etc, but sometimes you don't have other choice than using violence to stop violence.

What do you think about throwing some nuclear devices on those barbarians muslims, to exterminate them and their retarded genetic?

Then we can have finally some peace and just continue fighting forever on Yahoo answers, because it's kind of funny and unharmful :)

  • Believers, if there was a new self-proclaimed prophet/savior, what would you think about it?

If someone tell you (or write in a book) that he is the new son of your god, or god's messenger, will you again believe it?

Whatever is your answer, explain why (with more than one sentence), and explain what is the difference between someone from today and someone from only 2000 years ago.

  • Believers, if god created everything, he created light?

And at the same time, within a week, he created Earth. It was like 3000 years ago, right?

So, we shouldn't be able to calculate distances greater than 3000 light-years. How do you explain that we can see stars that are millions of light-years away from Earth?

  • Voltage range..Which voltage is the best suited?

    Hello,

Suppose I have a device that says: Voltage range (recommended): 7 - 12 VDC. The device include a voltage regulator that transforms the input voltage to 5V.

Is it better to use 7, or 12, or 9 VDC ? Give advantages and disadvantages, please.

    Thank you.

  • Believers, have you noticed how frequently there is the word "god" in movies?

Be it "Oh my god", or "Only god knows", whatever, or even directly related to god, like in Prometheus for example. Most movies are implying that (christian) god is real. You can be almost sure that when you watch a movie, you will hear at least once the word "god", if not ten times, and often even much more. I'm amused by this because I know the truth behind it, but what about you, believers? What do you think about it: brainwashing, or evidence that god is real?

  • How to choose a correct power supply?

We have choices of power supplies, like:

    230VAC -> 9VDC 500mA

    or

    230VAC -> 9VDC 1A

Suppose my actual needs are 450mA, but could be increased at a later time.

Instead of buying a 500mA for now, and then buying a 1A when I need more than 500mA, is there a problem or downsides of directly buying a 1A?

    Please explain, thank you.

  • Can I store electronic products near my electric panel?

I have very little room in my apartment to store my things, so I built a small trunk on top of the electric panel... Is it safe to use this trunk to store electronic products such as my old motherboard, old hard drives etc? In other words, is there a dangerous level of static electricity near an electric panel?

  • Why do most people reply without reading entirely?

I'm annoyed to see that most replies are totally unrelated to the questions.

Why do people reply without reading entirely the question, why don't they put themself in the shoes of the asker?

Typical question: "Why my computer take so much time to start?"

Typical answer here: "Buy a new computer".

Or, recently there was a question of a guy who wanted an OSD to show temperatures, and a guy replied and proposed tools that showed temperatures but were not OSD...What's the point of posting this?

To "helpers", it doesn't help at all to post replies like this, so just don't post because all it does is make you look like an idiot and you waste our time, and time is precious for some people... Let the guys who know what they are talking about...
