Why does anyone really care that Anna Nicole Smith died?
I mean seriously, what did the woman contribute? Do you have a gaping hole in your heart now that she's gone? I didn't think so. The only tragedy to be found here is that there is a baby out there with no mother.

If you had the power and authority (such President or Prime Minister) what would you do to end or limit terrorism. It's easy to criticize Bush and America for "lies" and "war-mongering", but if you're so smart what would you do?

12 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoWhy does there seem to be such a strong opposition to faith here?
I'm not talking about religion per se. One could view religion as man's attempt to understand the infinite, omnipotent, and omnipresent nature of God. Depending on the social envionment, that institution can be severely abused or uplifted.
But to the core of my question. What is it about believing there is more to our world then what we can see that is so repulsive? What is so repulsive about being a champion of love and forgiveness?

It seems many responses to Professor Hawkings (and others) questions about how our species will survive indicate our only hope is to relocate to Mars or beyond? Why resort to this logistical nightmare? Given the challenges faced by getting cooperation on this planet, what makes you think we could pull off establishing a sustainable presence on another?
