I will be getting married in august of this year in southern california's Ventura county. I recently went to speak to a florist and was wondering what everyone thinks about the package and price she gave me. I am not really sure what average flower costs are so I just need a little help.

My colors are burgundy and champagne/cream with gold accenting. Therefore, she told me My arrangements would be made using mostly black magic roses, freedom roses, charlotte and spray roses as well as cream colored vendelas, hydrangea, and lisianthus for softness.

My package will include my hand tied bouquet in burgundy colors and 5 bridesmaids in the creams. A thorw bouquet for me. A floral decorated basket and flower petals for the flower girl. A boutonniere for my ring bearer. One grooms boutonniere that will match my bouquet. 5 more for the groomsmen to match the bridesmaids. Two for the fathers and three more for the grandfathers. 2 pin-on corsages for our grandmothers and two posey bouquets for our mothers. I will get a a big floral decorated wrought iron arch for the ceremony as well as 8 wrought iron stands with arrangements on top for both sides down the aisle, plus scattered petal along the borders. 16 tall cylinder vase centerpieces for the reception and different bigger arrangements for my head table. And finally, the flower decor that will be used on my cake.

Included in the price are taxes, delivery and set up, and any transfers of florals from ceremony to reception that can be "double used"

Now the price I got came out to $2,822. Does this sound about right? Like I had said I don't really know about this kind of stuff so anyone's help, suggestions, comments, are truly appreciated. Thanks!!

I'm from a smaller city in los angeles county (so. California) but my wedding is going to be in a city of Ventura county which is about an hour and a half away from where I live. I am not sure which would be better or easier to handle. Should I try and find my vendors such as florist, dj, cake, etc. in my own home town or would it be better to seek these people and services closer to the area where my wedding will take place? I know for a destination wedding it would be necessary to use vendors from your destination place but I don't think mine really qualifies as a destination wedding. It's more of an out of town wedding. I know of some vendors in my area who are willing to travel/deliver a bit as most weddings of my local neighbors are out of town too since our town is small and probably not the nicest in LA. Some also charge extra for going out of town. The costs are not a problem for me. I am just looking for a good, maybe experienced, honest opinion of which will work out better for me and my out of town venue, for the vendors themselves (having to go out of town, or dealing with an out of town bride), and of course for the whole planning process. I will be attending the Lauren Conrad collection at Mercedes Benz LA fashion week next week. I also have acces to a green room post reception. Can anyone help me with some ideas of what to wear? I prefer to wear a dress and I have a few in mind that I will post a link to. I am 22 and about a size medium. everytime I try to open my microsoft word to start doing an assignment I get these little "L" looking things on every corner of every page. I have tried messing with the formatting and borders and frames and everything else I can think of but they are not going away. It looks like they are making a little frame around my paper. Does anyone know how to get rid of these little things, they are really starting to bug me!!! please help!!

i will be graduating soon from an RT program and will be taking my boards. what are they like?? any certain areas they concentrate on, like equipment, pft's, peds, etc? just wondering where i should start studying or what to study most.

am a pretty average size girl with pretty average size breasts and a pretty small waist. but when you go down to my lower half, it's a different story. my butt is sooo big, like people have compared it to vida guerra's butt which i think is massive. in high school i was even known as "that girl with the big butt" this is as well as my whole like upper thiegh/leg area. is there any kind of excersises or work outs i can do to make my butt smaller and get it proportional with the rest of my body. or should i just accept it and try to make the best it, even though i don't really feel comfortable with all the extra attention i get because of it. it's like that's all people see in me. please help!!!

i actually have a couple questions about this girl. first, does anyone know how old she is? some sources say 32, while other say 26/ 27. which is true? and second, does anyone know why she wasn't there to host the DUB custom car show in san diego this past sunday 11/19?? She was basically the main reason my bioyfriend and i went. we drove 3 hours to get there, and were there for 6 hours waiting to see her. if i had known she wasn't showing up i would have left sooner.
