  • Is there away that I can find out when my name was changed from CEO of a corporation to VP?

We incorporated in 1993. I cannot seem to get any other information except for the year that it was incorporated. I have no idea how my soon to be exhusband and the attorney that helped us incorporate was able to make that change.

  • Corporation records and stock certificate?

Am I still legally able to request corporate records since I am no longer the CEO. Soon to be ex-husband requested that we change status in order for me to be excluded from liability. I have reason to believe that the documents were forged, including stock certificate. When we incorporated, there was only 1 certificate. The certificate he had me sign over stated it was certificate 2. Even though there was white out on certificate, the attorney I had hired never took action when it was obvious. I regret what I did, but due to liability issues that my husband told me that I would be responsible for and the stress involved, I did what I was told to do. I am going into 3rd year and second attorney, financially drained along with a dark hopeless feeling of not being taken serious. What should I do from here. Please, Help this to end. It also involves forgery on life insurance and various other legal documents. The worst part is finding out my husband has not filed personal income since 1993

  • Accountant EA used 2 different SS# on Corporate records?

My husband had me down as CEO of our Printing business.

I am in the middle of divorce. I discovered that the accountant used my mothers ss# under my name on tax records for corporation. When I asked the accountant about this, he told me that it was just a clerical error. He did do my mothers personal taxes, but I don't believe that an accountant could make that kind of error. You would think that the software they use would red flag such an error. I feel he is covering for himself and my soon to be ex-husband. Can this be possible?

  • How did my husband change status of a corporation when?

the corporation was in my name only. And how do I request information that would help me in my upcoming divorce? He also forged my name for a partial surrender of funds on my life insurance. I recently found out that he has not paid personal income taxes since 1993. I'm afraid I've been set up.

  • Is it required for an Accountant to keep records of a corporation?

When I asked my accountant for copies of tax and financial records, he told me that he did not keep copies. I found out that my husband did things that were illegal, while the corporation was in my name. Now it is in his name. The accountant seems to be covering up for him.
