How did my husband change status of a corporation when?
the corporation was in my name only. And how do I request information that would help me in my upcoming divorce? He also forged my name for a partial surrender of funds on my life insurance. I recently found out that he has not paid personal income taxes since 1993. I'm afraid I've been set up.

Get an attorney now! Go the police department and file a complaint about the forgery. He has forged something else to change the status of YOUR corporation. File charges for that. You are going to need a tax lawyer.

How can the Corporation be in one persons name. It will have Shareholders and you might be the majority shareholder. From your name you sounds Indian, so if the shares are in your name then you can still have control over it.

First things first, file a police report for identity theft and put a fraud alert on your credit report. Next, get a lawyer and go after him.
