I am a seventy five year old male. I am severley handi-capped. Have had open heart with four by-passes, have had anurysm surgery, am diabetic, had a stoke. My legs are practically useless. But I still have a bright out look on life. I am a born again Christian, a member of the Glasgow Baptist Church. I am an alcoholic up to eighteen years ago when I had my last drink, a heavy smoker until 1997, when I quit. I did both of these until The Lord found me in 1990. I asked for His help and He provided the help. I know by hard fact, that some people will put me down, but if they want to go to Hell, go ahead, but go without me. All the Christians and people of other faith have my love and support. May my God and your God bless you.

  • Religion and reincarnation: Serious answers only please?

Are there any reincarnation people on this site? Can being a Christian and still believe in reincarnation work? I am very serious about this. I have experienced too much de javu to not totally discount the theory of reincarnation. I have had what seems like flashbacks to a former life. On the other hand, I am a strong believer and a Christian. I am totally confused with this. I am 73 years old by the way.

  • How did you get so wise?

This is for all the young skeptics on here. How on earth did you get so wise while still in your teens. I would suspect that the average age on here would be late teen-early twenties. I cannot for the life of me figure out how they became all knowing, smart enough to judge other people and in general make complete asses of themselves. It is really quite miraculous to me, until the Lord stops me and makes me think. This is the age of rebellion. Rebel all you want, but leave my religion out of it. I fully expect to get a lot of flack on this but know something? I don't care. Fire when ready, Gridley.

  • Re: my question yesterday about Christians?

I wrote several letters of apology yesterday, not about my question, but the way I worded it. I agree, it was judgemental, self centered, and very inappropriately done. Now everyone, and especially you, Jack whoever, I don't care to hear any more from you and this is definitely my last apology. Like I said, not for my question, but the way I worded it. God tells me to spread the word. If you don't want to accept it, so be it, but don't try to sell me any other religion or atheism, and I will say God Bless all I want. Like you so bluntly put it, this is a free country, after all.

  • Screening questions?

When I first started this, I thought it would be a neat way to spread the word of God. How come you let so many trouble makers, and down-right lewd and filthy questions get on here? Some of the qu

estions should be threw in the garbage heap where they belong. I do not belittle atheists, so why do all the rabble rousing trouble makers get on here. There are some really honest people on here looking for really honest questions. There are two on here at this very moment. Can God make a rectangular circle. Can God create a triangle circle. If these questions merit an answer, then I am out of here..
