2 AnswersSoftware5 years agoAwake with my toddler at 11:30pm HELP!!!?
So my daughter REFUSES to sleep in her crib. She wants to sleep on the floor on her fold out Dora couch. I am tired but I am not just going to leave my daughter sleeping on the floor by herself. What can I do. And no I am not going to let her sleep with me and her dad. I have worked very hard to not get that started. I guess I will be having a sleep over on her floor and going to Walmart to buy a Dora toddler bed tomorrow. Unless anyone else can offer some advice. Please......
16 AnswersToddler & Preschooler1 decade agoFor all the polygamists out there????
I have a question about polygamists. Is your life like the show Big Love where everyone is in agreement about it? Do you all live in one house or a couple? Are you just leagally married to your first wife and the others are like your girlfriends?I am just curious because I am addicted to that show and I wondered if there are any poligamist out there who see their life in comparison to that show.
2 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhen to go to a toddler bed?
My daughter is 17 months. I bought her a Dora couch that folds out into a nap bed for Christmas but she saw when I was bringing it the house and she got it early because she kept yelling, DORA!!! Very excited baby. Well now she wants to sleep there all the time. She takes her naps there and falls asleep there every night. When I know she's out I move her to her crib. Well now when she wakes up she screams bloody murder and yells for her Dora. I think she likes it because she can get up and play with her toys without having to cry for mommy. My question is; is she ready for a toddler bed? She doesn't try to climb out of her crib. I think she just really likes being able to play with all her toys when she wakes up in the morning and after naps, without having to have mommy come get her out. Is it too early?
8 AnswersToddler & Preschooler1 decade agoHave you had a seizure.....?
Has anyone ever had a seizure caused by sleep deprivation? My husband has just started having seizures this last year and today he had his 3rd. There is nothing medically wrong with him. The doctors have given him a clean bill of health. Tomorrow we are seeing the neurologist and having a MRI. I was just researching on the internet about something the Dr mentioned. Sleep deprivation seizure. He works really long hours. Like 15 days with no day off, 16 hour days and the last 2 weeks he has been pulling 18 hour days. Really tired. Good diet, healthy man just all the sudden...BAM seizures. Anyone else have this happen?
4 AnswersOther - General Health Care1 decade agoI don't have health insurance......?
I don't have health insurance, ( they don't offer it at my husband's job) and getting it through State Farm is very expensive. I was wondering if doctor's and hospitals work with people who are pregnant and don't have insurance. Like payment arrangements. I am not pregnant now but my hubby and I would like to be at the begining of the new year. Thanks.
7 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agoACT question????
I graduated from high school in1999. For the past 8 years I have worked in dealerships and been a stay at home mom. I am thinking about going to college. I ordered my high school transcripts and my GPA was good, not great and my ACT testing score was great in English and Reading, ok in science and not so great in math. I have never been good at math. Anyway do I need to take my ACT again to be accepted into college and if I do how do I go about doing that? Also, can I get a book to help me brush up on the required skills to score better this time? Thanks.
3 AnswersStandards & Testing1 decade agoIs this ok?

2 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoHow much tax do I have to pay?
Ok, here's the deal. I live in Colorado, I just sold my house for $126,000. I only owed $68,000, so as you can see I made a profit. How much tax do I have to pay? I have owned the home since 2000 lived there for a couple of years and then used it as a rental. My agent is telling me that I have to pay 30% of my profit to taxes and that seems a little high. Can anyone help me. I have searched all over the internet and can't find an answer. Thanks
3 AnswersRenting & Real Estate1 decade agoQuestion on storing fry bread?
I made some fry bread for Navajo tacos and I was just wondering how to store the leftovers. Can you ziploc them and stick them in the fridge or can you leave them out? I really don't know. This is my first time making them.
1 AnswerCooking & Recipes1 decade agoShould stay at home parents be paid for their service?
I am a SAHM and I do a lot. I am a day care provider, chef, taxi, maid, and personal shopper. My payment.....getting to see my daughter grow up and have a one on one relationship with her that is priceless. I think it would be great if they gave us like 20K a year to help with added expenses. See I am not a college grad. I am a hair stylist but that's about it and almost all of the "make money on the internet scams" are just that. Scams. If I went into the working field I would spend all of my earnings on daycare and gas, so what's the point? What's so wrong with giving American families extra money a year to help them out. They give millions away to welfare so why not help us? What do you think?

2 AnswersDiet & Fitness1 decade agoBath time question?
My daughter is 9 months old almost 10 and LOVES her bath. I stopped using her baby bath seat because she would just throw a fit when she was in it. Now she crawls all over the tub and plays with her toys and really enjoys bath time. My question is she loves to put her head under the faucet to feel the water coming out. Is this ok? I am with her at all times so that's not it. I am worried about water in her ears and a possible ear infection. Am I being overprotective? Can this happen? My husband says I am overreacting. Help.
5 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoWhat can I do?
I have a family delima. I have this chick who married into my family that is talking a lot of sh*t between everyone. She is saying that I say things I never said and I can find no way to make this stop. It is causing problems in my family and getting everyone mad at everyone else. I feel like I am in high school. My cousin called me tonight to ask me if I had in fact said things that I never have would think of saying. I told her that I am an adult and it would be stupid of me to say these things because I know whatever I say will be brought back down on my butt a million times worse. What can I do? She is saying things I never said and is doing it between everyone else too. HELP!!

1 AnswerGames & Gear1 decade agoDamn Baby Weight?
I have been trying to lose my baby weight since my daughter was born in July. My year is almost up and I have only lost about 15 pounds. I eat right....fruits, veggies, slim fast in the morning with small meals after and I do Pilates 4 times a week and NOTHING!!! Is there anything else I can do? It's my own fault for gaining 50 lbs during my pregnancy and now I know for my next child to not eat so much. At the rate I am going though I won't be able to get pregnant because being overweight and pregnant is not good for you or the baby. Does anyone have any ideas or thoughts on a diet pill that will help boost results?
30 AnswersOther - Pregnancy & Parenting1 decade agoDo you think that she may be allergic to a preservative?
My 9 month old daughter seems to be allergic to milk, carrots, apples, pumpkin (?), and oatmeal. I think it's odd for a child to be allergic to such a wide variety of things. Do you think it is possible that she is allergic to a preservative in the baby food and not the food itself? I have asked my doctor and he said to eleminate the foods and then we will take her to an allergist when she is one. Well I have eleminated them and she is fine drinking soy baby formula and eating all the other foods, but I never realized how many foods had carrots and apples in them. What can I do? Her reaction is an itchy rash on her chest and with the carrots her hands swelled a little. Should I try to make them fresh in my food processor? Should I leave it alone? I'm not sure. My husband is allergic to milk and a wheat allergy runs in his family so I understand those, but I only have hay fever. Has anyone else's child had these kind of allergies?
6 AnswersToddler & Preschooler1 decade agoAre you offended?
As a homosexual were you offended that Don Imus got fired for saying racists comments but Isiah Washington can call TR Knight a fag and come off scott free with NO reprucussions? I am offended and I am not gay, I don't think it's right. I think Isiah should have been fired too because they are both hatefilled remarks that are awful and should be punished equally. What do you think?
6 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender1 decade agoWhy isn't rape considered a hate crime?
I was wondering about this. Why isn't rape considered a hate crime? When a man rapes a woman it is either out of anger, rejection, or just plain hate of the female race. Why?
