  • What is Target's return policy on cosmetics?

I bought a blush/bronzer duo and a powder brush (I bought more, but I want to return only those items), and the blush was missing a plastic cover inside and it was slightly cracked and the brush was very poor quality and kept shedding. I was very upset, and I want to get my money back. I didn't even use the items, but of course I opened the package to test the products. I have the receipt and packaging, should Target take it back?

  • Poll for everyone! Should I apply to my old job?

I worked at this little Italian place for a few months, but was let go because of overstaffing. Now they're hiring again, and while I wasn't terribly great, I was still getting used to the job when I was let go. Should I reapply?

  • Should I follow up on applications or not?

I applied to a few places (CVS, Staples and a local grocery store) that were hiring. I really need a job, and I feel like I'm qualified for the jobs (I've had work experience). I know the references I put down will give me a good recommendation, but I haven't heard anything back. It's been about a week, should I make a call? PS- I'm 16 (almost 17) and for my previous job (that I was laid off from), I didn't have to follow up on it. Some people say it's really good, it shows you're interested, others say it's bad because it makes you look pushy. Help me!

  • University in Ireland to an EU citizen but not a resident?

I have a dual Irish/American citizenship, and I want to

go to university in Dublin. Will I have to pay as much as

a regular international student will pay to go to an Irish

university, or will I get a cheaper tuition because of my

citizenship? I haven't lived there, but I hold an Irish

passport and I have been a citizen for about 3 years. I know I won't get free tuition because I haven't paid the taxes, but I'm under the impression that I would get a reduced tuition.

  • Could I still get a government student loan for university in Ireland?

I'm from the US, but I have an Irish citizenship and I want to go to college there. It would be 7500 euros a year for me to go, a lot cheaper than American college, but no financial aid. I was curious if I could still get college loans here, but use them abroad. Please help, I'm just a junior who doesn't know much about college loans.

  • Can I use a new debit card without a PIN number?

I recently had to get a new card, but it just came in the mail today. I don't have any cash on me, and I really need to buy groceries, so if I go to a store and select 'credit', will it work? I haven't received the

PIN number in the mail yet, but I activated my card.

  • At a physical, what does the doctor check for when you pee in a cup?

I've always been curious...do they do drug testing or something else or both? I'm not on drugs, I just never know what they test for...

  • Should I even consider going to university overseas?

I've always wanted to go to college overseas, but I never knew how expensive or practical it was. I live in the US, but I want to attend university in London. I have Irish citizenship, so I think it would be an easier transfer than most Americans would find. American colleges are extremely expensive, and European colleges are cheaper, but I don't know if that's the case for international students. What I'm trying to ask is, is it practical for me to think of attending university abroad, or should I just find an American university I like? My mom has more airline points than she could use, and if I'm saving money in tuition, then I can easily travel home, so that isn't a concern.

  • Red, itchy circle on thigh?

On my thigh, there's an itchy, red circle. It's quite large, and my mom has it lower on her leg (she has eczema), but she said it doesn't look the same. I'm not sexually active, so it can't be an STD, so I'm just curious on what it could possibly be.

  • What songs remind you of John Lennon?

...but aren't actually written by him? I need some ideas for an English presentation (biography project), and if we're doing a musician (which I am), we can only do two songs by them. I'm using 'Imagine' and 'Mother', but I need some more songs that relate to his life. Can someone just suggest some songs that would have to do with his life's struggles, music, accomplishments, or personality (pretty much anything on his life.) Thank you!

  • What movies would you suggest for me?

Okay...I have a guilty pleasure. I love really girly teenage movies, such as What a Girl Wants and Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging. I'm on the lookout for others because I'm having a sleepover with some girlfriends and we have the most stereotypical girls nights (nail painting, pigging out, watching teenage romantic comedies, and talking about boys). Can you suggest some good ones for me? Thank you :)

  • Where could I find any inspiring military stories?

For my history class, we all have to write a paper for a VFW scholarship, and the topic is 'Is there any pride in being in the military?'. I believe there is, but I don't have any stories or anything. I don't have any living relatives who were in the military, and I don't know a lot of stories from before that would be relevant. Thank you :)

  • I'm nervous to work in a kitchen?

I just started work at a little Italian restaurant in my town, and I grill and fry items. I feel like its a lot to remember, and I feel like i can screw up easily. I make a lot of chicken parmesan, grilled chicken and steak, stuff like that, but I still feel nervous that I'm not moving fast enough or that something will be served wrong. How can I get past my nerves and have confidence in the job that I'm doing?

I was 16 years old and I worked as a cashier/waitress/busboy/kitchen staff at a very small Italian restaurant. What was yours?

  • Does early decision affect the ease of whether or not you will get in to a school?

I really want to go to UMASS Amherst since I love the campus, lifestyle and academics. I know they offer early decision and it is non restrictive, but I don't know if it will make it any easier to get into. Basically, if I get in, I'm not going to consider anywhere else, so I'm not concerned with having to go there. What is the benefit of early decision versus regular decision, if any?

  • Can I get in to UMASS Amherst?

I currently have a 3.2 gpa, but am enrolled in 1 AP class and 1 honors class (science and lab), so I hope that will go up. I plan on taking the AP exam in US History, and next year taking it in Chemistry, Microeconomics, and possibly French. I know my gpa isn't great, but I'm involved in a lot of extra curriculars, such as track, musical, marching band, Amnesty International, French Club, Schools on Wheels, Invisible Children, and Leo Club. I have a job, and from these clubs, I do a lot of volunteer work. I know it's a lot of people's back up choices, but I want to get a good education at a good price so that I don't have college loans to pay off. What are my chances of getting in?

  • What should I do about this job?

I'm looking for a job, because soon I will be driving and I need to pay for car insurence. There was a little Italian restaurant that needed kitchen staff (needs to be 16 years old), so I left my information and called a few days later. On this call, I talked to one of the managers and he said to come over and fill out an application. He wasn't there, so I went home. While I was there, I noticed the sign taken off, but I this was literally two days after I called and they said they were still hiring. I feel like I'd be super annoying if I called again, so should I give up or keep trying?

  • I'm literally not hungry anymore...?

I have very bad allergies right now, so I'm very congested, but we don't buy the allergy medicine with decongestant in it because it makes my mom's heart race (she takes it too). I literally have no appetite, I don't feel hungry at all, but later I get very lightheaded if I don't eat earlier. There isn't much in the house to eat, and no one has the time to do grocery shopping, so we've been living off what we have here, but lately, I've been sick of everything and I have absolutely no desire to eat. I'm not insecure about myself or anything, so I don't think I have a major eating disorder. Help?

  • What is your favorite Monty Python and the Search for the Holy Grail quote/scene?

    Mine:

Please! This is supposed to be a happy occasion. Let's not bicker and argue over who killed who.
