  • Smelly leather?

I had bought a used leather attache case or briefcase some years ago and it still stinks as it does when I first got it. Its a beautiful attache but it smells of old leather and something I cannot put my finger on it. How do I get rid of the smell of stinky hard leather?

  • First time townhouse buyer?

I live in northern Virginia and I want to be a first time townhouse home buyer to rent out. I have always wanted to buy a townhouse to rent or sell, but more likely rent first. I am very new on home buying and still learning slowly. Is it possible to buy a townhouse for the first time putting none of my own money down and rent it off to others? I do not own my own home at this time.

And if I am able to rent off, how much percentage of profit am I able to keep?

  • Choose the past or future?

If you had a choice, would you rather live back in the days when high tech gadgets did not exist and life was a bit much easier and slower with out automobiles, planes, and trains? Or would you rather live in the future in the next couple hundred years or so from now where everything is assisted with high tech and life will be much more expensive and humans would then have to deal with stresses of that a very serious global warming and all kinds man made detruction that was left from the past is completely detroying the earth? Humans then will have to find unique ways to live and survive.

  • How do I stop many programs from running everytime I start up my computer?

I may have lots of stuff running everytime I turn on my computer and I think it is slowing my computer down. How do I get into the area where I can turn off some of these unneccesary programs? The cable guy showed me how on the down stairs computer which has a Windows XP, but my computer upstairs has a Windows Professional 2000 and the same steps he showed me did not work on my computer. Simply using Ctl, Alt, Delete is not what Im talking about. Do you think its affecting my virtual memory since I seem to never have enough even though sometimes Im not running any programs except for a few web pages open?

  • My computer has a mind of its own...?

After years of using my computer it decides on its own to restart and acts like its brand new again. Everything that I had on my desk top and saved in files and folders was what I thought was lost but found it later under a different User in Document and Settings. I am the only one using this computer. I use wireless cable network, does that compromise my security more so than with a direct connect cable? Is someone hacking into my computer or is it virus? I have security protection Ive downloaded from the internet already installed, should I buy a better one?

I dont have the option to do a system restore like other computers. I just want to know whats the cause and to be able to prevent it from happening again. Thanks!

  • Is it worth it to fix my 1988 Honda accord?

The front wheel of my 1988 Honda Accord on the passenger side axle makes a very loud sounding metal scratch noise when I drive slow and make turns. I was told that its not so important and that I dont need to replace right away (since because lack of money it was not top priority), but eventually I will have to replace. It has been almost a year since the noise began. Now I will have to replace both front tires because its balding and replace/fix my both my front axle and one of my upper ball joints in the front also. The whole cost will be worth about $500 to $700. What will the results be if I just keep on driving without fixing both axles and the upper ball joint on the driver side? How much longer can I drive my car with out fixing that particular problem? Just a couple of weeks ago I had to replace new batteries and new alternator, cost me about almost $400! I may even have transmission problems! Is it worth it to fix it all? How much will I get for it if I sold as is?
