I've been wanting to go to the Mid-Autumn Festival, especially because I want to try a moon cake. It's the 23 now. Will bakeries still have moon cakes? I'm looking to search around the Chinese neighborhoods in NYC.

I'm not Rasta but I do feel a need for modesty at times and also I would rather have my hair kept neatly in a wrap than out and about. My hair is very curly, I'm mixed, part Trini but it's not obvious. Just trying to figure out my options without offending anyone. I've taken to wearing a hairnet a few times when walking around and to church on occasion, but I have to pin it to my scalp to keep it on.

Okay, so as long as I've been alive my mother has pushed my sister and I to eat everything on our plate and then she asks if we want seconds. We're a family of 4 but she usually cooks for 8. I mean like main course and 4 sides for just about every meal. My sister's always been picky but even her metabolism is slowing down on her, so now everybody is fat. And my dad is handed the biggest portions. Last I went to the doc, he said my cholesterol was slightly above normal. My mom has high cholesterol and smokes. My dad is pre-diabetic. My sis is okay but she'll get to our point. But I notice that whenever my sister and I make a conscientious effort to go on a healthy diet, our mother will go pick up cake, cookies, donuts, chips, ice cream, pretty much everything bad. She'll say, "it's not for you, it's for me and when guests come over." Guests NEVER come over. O.O

I love playing Perfect World because it has so much customization and is a lot of fun to play. Still I find the female characters always wind up looking like Asian boys in drag, no matter what I do with them. Are there any other games out there that have as much or more customization? Face customization being a MUST. I would prefer either F2P games, or a game I can just buy once from Gamestop and play online or by myself.

I'm in NYC. I've been applying for security jobs off of Craigslist and I got a callback last night. I Googled the address, which gave me the company's name, then Googled the name to see if they had a website I could checkout. First thing that popped up were reports made at RippoffReport.com from folk saying the company was trying to take their money. I have no NYS Security Guard license, and I don't even know how to get one. I'm not sure what ads are real and what's not. Help me, please.

I have very curly, spiral curl hair and it seems as if every website is catered toward straight haired women who "want" to have spiral curled hair. I want to get my hair cut and styled. I see no websites for this. Everything is either loose curl styles(again for straight haired folk to use a curling iron *eyeroll*), straight hair, or a photo taken somewhere between 1980 and 1990, looking like some General Hospital Luke & Laura crap. Help me, please! I'm going to shoot my monitor!

My sister just got some text messages from her exboyfriend. Her previous employer gave her tax return forms to her exboyfriend. She never lived with him but they seem to think it's ok to give the tax return forms to him. We called up the employer and they simply gave an attitude of, "Are you done?"

Now the ex is going to use this as an excuse to see her and he is abusive.

What should we do, and is there anything legal we can do about it?

For the past year or so, I've had no interest in hanging out with friends or going to parties. When I go anywhere, I try to go out early in the morning when there's less people around. I don't want to work anywhere where there's people and I don't want to date anyone. But when I'm on the internet, I talk to lots of people. I thought maybe I was antisocial but the definition for antisocial is not me.

I suffer with depression and anxiety and I often burnout from both. I'm having a difficult time explaining to potential employers why my resume is so sporadic. Still, I do need to work and I need to find something that is not overly stressful. I can do things like clerical work fairly easy and quickly. High pressure jobs overload my nervous system. So, I'm competent and capable, but under the right circumstances.

I've noticed African Americans bash Haitians and Africans on occasion. Don't all black people go through the same struggles? Why is there this separation?

My friend quit her job on the 24th, and worked 5 days before that. They are trying to tell her that the work week starts on Wednesdays, but the 25th is a Saturday. I think they stiffed her 3 days pay. Why put dates on a pay stub that make no difference to an employee's records?

They're all Greek and the bar is double chocolate.

I have three phones in my house and all of them stopped working. My DSL still works, but I've noticed that if anyone picks up the phone now, my DSL disconnects.

I suspect a filter may have broken, but would that cause all the phones in the house to stop working?

I'm already an art major and in college but I'd like to possibly become a masseuse so I can have some income flowing in(I'm pretty broke and finding jobs is hard). I would like to know what is the cheapest/easiest way I can get a massage therapy license in NYC. I don't know if there is an easy way but it's worth asking.

I'm a webmaster for my friend's websites. Her website was made of HTML and CSS and she kept mentioning how easy FreeWebs is for her other site. I changed her website to use Drupal and she still acts like Freewebs is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Does anyone know of a CMSthat works as easily as Freewebs that is customizable? I'm sure that using Freewebs is a big mistake because there really isn't much customization allowed in the long run.

I'm rarely attracted to anyone. Then every once in a while, I meet a guy and when I get close to him, I feel the strongest attraction that I never would've felt from far away. My knees feel weak and I feel lost in space. I've come to the conclusion that it has to be pheromones. These guys always wind up acting very friendly and doe-eyed towards me but never take it further. My question is, are pheromones mutual?
