Is it better to buy 1 or 2 bedroom apartment in Brooklyn or Manhattan to rent out in long term?
I was thinking about the depreciation, price increase, taxes... so overall is it better to buy apartment to rent out in the expensive areas or not for a long term profit and if needed later to sell the apartment to get cash

1 AnswerSoftware5 years agoif YOU remotely ERASE ALL DATA FROM PHONE using Google Android Device Manager, will it keep password on it so thief won't unlock it?

1 AnswerCell Phones & Plans5 years agoBest way to protect and TRACK your phone when lost and stolen? For example, ask password when pressing turn off buttons for ANDROID phones?
Hello.
How do you protect your phones? What programs you are using? Disable "power off" feature without the password... Please don't write that people can remove battery (many phones have non removable batteries), don't write that thief can take out simcard and insert another one or none, and don't write that hard reset buttons will turn off or reboot the phone! Many thief are stupid, many have no tools on them , no time to play with phones, but for people who look for their phone EVERY second is a big deal. Please share Apple phone users too, is there a way to disable HARD RESET buttons, or at least set up the password on it using APP? Please try not to mention rooting and jailbreak! thx
1 AnswerCell Phones & Plans5 years agoHi Obi Wan Knievel thx! in case of accident, can I pick to call Zipcar and not to call Chase (visa) CDW? Do I need to call both?
Or call chase (visa) and file a claim, and then call Zipcar and file a claim right away? who to call first? Or always better to call and file claims with both of them doesn't matter who to call first? CDW will cover only my car, Liability Insurance (from ZipCar) will cover other cars and some other expenses?
*P.C.
Visa (CDW) will cover deductible if you have your personal car insurance, in this case CDW will always run as Secondary! That what representative of Visa told me! And Liability Insurance from Car Rental is not personal insurance!
1 AnswerInsurance & Registration5 years agoWill Chase (Sapphire) cover deductible of zipcar’s $1,000 liability insurance as it mentioned in Wikipedia?
Hello.
I spent hours didn’t find answers! Please help!
1. Will Chase (Sapphire) cover deductible of zipcar’s $1,000 liability insurance?
2. I have Sapphire Chase (CDW - collision damage waiver) and how will it work - As REAL primary or as REAL secondary in case of the accident? I don't have a car and don't have any car insurance! I want to understand how Zipcar’s liability insurance will work with CDW’s of the Chase (Sapphire)? Or I’ve better waive (buy a waiver) $1,000 deductible from zipcar’s liability insurance, because chase’s CDW won’t cover it?
3. Chase (sapphire) - give people CDW (primary) so it will first cover the damaged car, and only then Zipcar’s LIABILITY insurance will jump in? Will Sapphire as primary cover $1,000 deductable of the zipcar's liability insurance?
4. Chase (freedom) - give people CDW (secondary) so Zipcar’s LIABILITY insurance will pay for pretty much everything and only then VISA (chase freedom) will jump in to pay for the rest? Will Freedom as secondary cover $1,000 deductable of the zipcar's liability insurance?
5. Wikipedia - "Then the credit card issuer will pay the primary insurance's deductible and will address any large claims above the primary insurance limit." I'm confused.
thanks

9 AnswersImmigration5 years agoHello, how to deal with car accident, what information to gather, and main important steps? Thx?
I've never had a car, going to rent ZipCar. if someone with experience can clear some info for me!
1. From ZipCar’s site “Get the contact details for all parties involved, including the driver's name (and vehicle owner, if different from the driver), phone number, address, license number, insurance company and policy number, vehicle registration plate number and vehicle identification number (VIN).” what about if they refuse to give me their info, or tell me they don't have any on them, or lied and tell me they got no insurance? Do I really have to gather all this info?
2. Do I need to take picture of their ID to make sure they are who they say they are?
3. "Put in a claim with your auto insurance company AND with the other drivers insurance company too. Deal with whichever company is easier to deal with." CAN I do this? Is it better to do so?
4. If it's my fault AND if it's not my fault in both cases I have to give my Info (ID etc) to third party (other driver or drivers)? If not, what info do I have to provide them?
5. I'd better always call 911 (police) and get a report? Is it always good idea? Do I need police report for Insurance?
6. Do I need to have Witness? If no one wants to be one? Not to have any is a big deal?
7. From ZipCar’s site “Call the emergency services if there are any injuries, damage to either vehicle involved, or if you believe you are not at fault.” If I’m at fault better not to call emergency services (the way they stated it – kind mean it?)?

6 AnswersInsurance & Registration5 years agoNew York traffic rules and regulations. I'm a bit confused after I read the whole traffic regulation rules for New York.?
Hello
I'm a bit confused after I read the whole traffic regulation rules for New York.
1. I cannot cross public bus stop lane (square part of the road where the buses stop to pick up/drop off passengers) to make left or right turns? Can get ticket for it?
2. School bus – if there is school bus and its red lights light up with sign, and we are on the 2 way road single lanes divided by two solid yellow lines, all cars must stop?? What about if it’s 2, or even 3 lanes roads, 2 way roads and divided by two solid yellow lines? Do I have to stop if I’m on opposite side of the road? Does it matter on which lane I’m driving on the opposite side? I would have to stop anyway?
3. On 2 way road with one lane and divided by two solid yellow lines CAN I make K-Turn?
4. On 2 way road with two or 3 lanes divided by two yellow solid lines CAN I make U-turn (if there is no signs prohibited to do so, can I legally cross two solid yellow lines )???
5. What does the green left arrow with a red solid light mean? You have the right to turn left and there won’t be any oncoming traffic from opposite side of the road? They will have solid red light?
6. What does the green left arrow with a green solid light mean? You have the right to turn left but have to yield to the coming opposite traffic first? Or WILL oncoming traffic still faces a red light ??
Thanks!
