  • How do you start a 1078A?

I flipped the battery switch, flipped the toggle switch by the door, and then I think I should just be able to push the button but nothing happens.

  • The Bid/Ask price of stocks?

I know that the Ask price of a stock is what you actually pay for a stock but some have extra numbers and look like this $9.00 x 12500. Does that mean the Ask price is $9.00/ share only if you buy 12500 shares?

  • How did you know your marriage was over?

I'm thinking that I may end up getting divorced and was just wondering how you would know it is not worth trying to save it. My wife will not talk to me about the problems we are having and keeps saying everything is fine, I told her everything is not fine because clearly I am not happy with the way things are going. She will not just sit down and talk with me to work through the issues, I am thinking that she wants to be with someone else but I am not sure.

  • What kind of sin is homosexuality?

I was talking to a gay person at work and originally he told me he thought that being gay was not a sin because it is not in the New Testament. I have found in KJV Romans 1:27 where it says at the end "men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet." or in my study Bible is phrased as "and as a result of this sin, they suffered within themselves the penalty they deserved." Now it seems to me that God doesn't approve of it but the only punishment for it happens within themselves. I know verse 28 goes into not acknowledging God but that seems to be aimed at all Romans. I am not looking for God hates fags or gays are going to hell types of answers since we should all know God loves us all and we are not supposed to judge. Thank you for any views you chose to share.

  • Should Yahoo respect our First Amendment Rights?

This is a letter I sent to Yahoo after one of my questions was deleted, I don't believe they should be taking down questions or answers in this section or any other that are not SPAM or illegal. Please answer libertarian, conservative, liberal, socialist, or communist let them know what you feel.

Yahoo needs to respect the idea of the First Amendment especially when it comes to the Political section. The very idea that a question or response is to chatty or offends someone and should be deleted when it comes to politics is rather absurd. This is a topic that Americans love and are passionate about so people can be offended and things can become "chatty" through the question and answer format. As long as a question or answer is not SPAM or illegal I think you need to rethink deleting questions or answers. I will ask a question in the Politics & Government>Politics section about this issue, I could be wrong but maybe you should see what your members think.

  • I thought Obama would only raise taxes on the wealthy.?

Guess he is just an average lying politician, not a messiah.

By PHILIP ELLIOTT, Associated Press Writer Philip Elliott, Associated Press Writer – 2 hrs 21 mins ago

WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama's treasury secretary said Sunday he cannot rule out higher taxes to help tame an exploding budget deficit, and his chief economic adviser would not dismiss raising them on middle-class Americans as part of a health care overhaul.

As the White House sought to balance campaign rhetoric with governing, officials appeared willing to extend unemployment benefits. With former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan saying he is "pretty sure we've already seen the bottom" of the recession, Obama aides sought to defend the economic stimulus and calm a jittery public.

Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner and National Economic Council Director Larry Summers both sidestepped questions on Obama's intentions about taxes. Geithner said the White House was not ready to rule out a tax hike to lower the federal deficit; Summers said Obama's proposed health care overhaul needs funding from somewhere.

"There is a lot that can happen over time," Summers said, adding that the administration believes "it is never a good idea to absolutely rule things out, no matter what."

During his presidential campaign, Obama repeatedly vowed "you will not see any of your taxes increase one single dime." But the simple reality remains that his ambitious overhaul of how Americans receive health care — promised without increasing the federal deficit — must be paid for.

  • Is the Quran similar to the Bible having an Old and New Testament?

I'm curious if maybe some of the radical Muslims are following something like the Old Testament or are they just following their own thing? In our Old Testament God really is not loving or forgiving after the Original Sin of Adam and Eve. Then we have the New Testament which is our new covenant with God where love and forgiveness is expected of humans and God shows us. It allows us to be saved from our sins.
