My buddy's sister got Dengue fever and I read over the internet that its got no proper medicine. I wanna know if its deadly or not. and does it heal on its own if not deadly?

I had tow knife cuts on hand that were not healing since the last 2 days, I was thinking they could get infected. Today I cleaned some machinery using cloth dipped in diesel. the diesel got into my wounds and I got worried. Caused no pain no nothing, in the evening I had a look at wounds and they looked like healed up really fast. So I wanna ask if diesel is good for wounds? cause we use vaseline and its a petroleum product too and it causes nothing bad.

are cold and flu same things? I get runny nose and a large number of sneezes in winters, or every time i walk out of my home, when there is about 20 degrees. i want to get rid of it, it hits me even when i wash my face in winters, i discovered my nose has a problem in the structure which can be a problem, my friend had same problem and he went through a small nose surgery that worked good for him. i dont have time to see a doctor :p please tell me something about this flu why it happens when ambient temperature drops.
