Ok I thought I knew what offside was - just to make clear I do not follow football, infact can't stand it. However when I was little I played abit and offside was explain to me that to cannot directly go for goal if there isn't a defender between you and the goal, well not between but in the front area, Now my boyfriend is telling me I am totally wrong so what is the offside rule in english please!!!

I have been infested by huge house spiders, im finding at least 2 per day (to be honest i don't go looking) their on the stairs in the bathroom running across the floor dropping off the fireplace, one even crawled out of my bag at work. Its beyond a joke!

how do i get rid of them is there a powder poison or way to deal with them. In 3 days last week I killed 12 and im not talking little thing i mean proper big brown hairy spiders

My friend has rented a small cafe of some old lady, he pays every week. But they have no contract between them now she wants to double the rent with no notice and he has seen the cafe advertised to be sold. he asked her and she deined it. Does he have any rights atall to keep hold of his business that in effect he has built up from nothing, he has tried talking to her but she just brushes it off. any advice or links would be great before he spends a fortune on a solicitor

Ok I have a great little jack russell who has strange behaviour at best.

I have been made redundant recently and been at home with the dog alot, (he was never on his own I use to leave him at my mums in the morning and pick him up after work, like a child)

Anyway to the point if i make a loud nosie say singing or pretend to make a siren nosie he howls then I howl back and he goes mental and runs round the house howling and then gets really giddy!

So why does he act like this he seems to like it or is it hurting his ears, please no digs at my singing I will be the first to admit Im no superstar but I don't smash glass. if you know what I mean!

in an argument with my boyfriend we have decide that all hard men of all hard men is ..... now we have all ready decided place one and two and these are not moving but having trouble with number 3... this has been going on for 2 hours so please lets have votes one place 3

stoo73 totally agree, as for rocky not quite a martial artist the bloke can't even speak, as before place 1 and 2 are not moveable bruce is a god and chuck has a fist under his chin so they are the hardest of hardest...let place number 3 people this is important stuff

I have had my jack russell for 6 years - this year he has suddenly started to shake whenever it rains, I think it is related to the fireworks last year as the local chavs were in full force. How can I get him to calm down and get him not to react. Any ideas would be great as I thik hes about 10 years old now (got him as a rescue dog) ad I don't want him to get that upset it damages his heart.
