Six Pack abs and heartburn?
I have a six pack and I am in good shape. But, for the past year in training, I get heartburn the day after intense training. I try not to exercise right after I eat and I stretch my abs before and after my workout sessions. Is there anything else I can do to prevent my indigestion? Does anyone else out there with six pack abs go through this?
3 AnswersDiet & Fitness1 decade agoRecent heartburn fits?
I never had any trouble with heartburn until about a year ago when I would start getting heartburn maybe once a month. Now, I'm having heartburn probably at least once a week. I have not changed anything in my diet and I am not overweight and I eat healthy. The only things I can think of is that I drink alcohol and coffee everyday. I have a family history of digestive disorders. Antacids help, but I keep getting this heartburn. Any suggestions?
4 AnswersOther - Diseases1 decade agoAre there any alternative medicine physicians in the Knoxville, TN area?
I have been trying for over two years to find a family physician or general practitioner in Knoxville that meets all my needs. Why is it that every doctor that I have been to does not agree with my alternative therapies that I use to keep myself healthy? Why do physicians always think that THEY are in charge of my health - not me. I want a doctor that understands that and also one that will answer my questions and not treat me like I don't matter. I don't want a doctor that is constantly being bombarded by pharmaceutical sales representatives either. I want a doctor that wishes to have a personal relationship with me and my family and puts my concerns and wishes before his/her own when it comes to my health.
Does anyone know a doctor that meets these qualifications in the Knoxville area?
1 AnswerAlternative Medicine1 decade agoI'm looking for my horse?
I am looking for a horse that I had when I was a teenager. My father sold him out from under me and didn't give me a chance to earn his barn keep.
He would be about 24 years old now if he is still alive. He is a Hanoverian/Welsh Pony cross and was about 15.2 hands. He is black with two white socks in the back and a coronet band on the left front leg. He has a distinctive "question mark" looking facial marking. I owned him in the town of Griffin, GA USA. Does anyone know where I can find where my horse is now? I would be glad to purchase him from whoever owns him.
6 AnswersHorses1 decade agoAny Pinos that live in the Philippines?
We can't seem to find any information about my husband's father. His last name was Pino and he was killed during WWII in the Philippines during the Japanese occupation. We know his wife's name was Segunda and he had a daughter named Antonina. Anyone from the Philippines heard of these names?
Any information you could provide would be most appreicated!
1 AnswerGenealogy1 decade agoWhat is wrong with not taking pills anyway?
I'm 26 years old and I have never been able to swallow pills. I have managed to gag down a couple here an there throughout my life, but I am MUCH more comfortable just taking chewables or liquids.
Personally, I don't think there is any problem with me doing this for the rest of my life. Every medication that I have ever needed (antibiotics included) have been available to me in liquid or chewable. Even after I had extensive oral surgery, I had chewable narcotic pain relievers and liquid antibiotic.
So, why is it that I receive so much ridicule from doctors that I can't swallow pills? I even had my Primary Care Physician laugh at me and tell me that I was being silly and that as an ADULT I needed to grow up and learn how to swallow pills. He said that only children take liquids and chewables. But, so what?!
What are your opinions about this? Why are doctors prejudiced against people who choose not to take pills?
5 AnswersOther - Health1 decade agoPlease help Cringer find a good home?
My 1.5 year old tabby cat is too aggressive and destructive and I can't keep him anymore. My ex abused him while I was at work (he didn't work) and now he is out of control. I've tried EVERYTHING and he destroys everything inside my home. If I leave him outside, he howls all day AND night. Cringer needs lots of attention and patience with a lot of room outside where he can roam around and play. Please let me know if you are interested in adopting this handsome boy. I have more information on him such as his vet, diet, treats, etc.
Yes, he is neutered. Also, I used to be a vet nurse and I know all the tricks and methods for dealing with aggressive cat behavior. Unfortunatey, he is an exceptional case that is out of my hands and experience.

I am having a Bachlorette party sometime between July and September. I am having a hard time finding a venue that has male strippers in Knoxville. There are only female strip clubs that I've seen. Will I have to go Atlanta or Nashville?
4 AnswersWeddings1 decade agoHow much??
I was wondering how much you guys pay in vet bills each year. I'm going to be purchasing a horse soon and I haven't owned one in a long time. I'm sure the prices have changed significantly.
