i'm a socially awkward person...I'm 15 years old and a sophomore in high school and I only have like 4 really close friends (my grade is divided by cliques and I have my own clique but only 4 girls in it that I'm really close with). I find it difficult to carry on a conversation with someone im not really close with. I can carry on a conversation like small talk wise with basically anybody, but what I mean is that neither me nor the other person seems to be very "into" the conversation, if you get what I mean. what im about to say might sound narcissistic, but it's what my parents and my friends tell me...I'm a very pretty and nice person (I'm a model, 5'11 with waist length brown wavy hair and blue eyes) but nobody really sees my internal struggles. I get nervous around large crowds. at my school people crowd around the hallways in huge clumps during break and in between classes, and I get really nervous trying to navigate through those crowds. I have a habjt of walking really fast down the hallway (almost like speed walking) and even if people wanted to say hi to me in the hallway, which I doubt they do, it's like they wouldn't have any time to because I walk so fast down the hallway because I'm afraid to stop and interact with people. I'm afraid of what others think of me. I'm a loner; instead of going out with people on the weekends I sit in my bedroom, read books, watch Netflix, and study. I want to expand myself socially, but I'm scared....I don't know how. help!

I have a French test tomorrow, and I understand all of the material except for possessive adjectives. I understand that:

- Mon, ma, and mes go with Je

- Ton, ta, and tes go with Tu

- Son, sa, and ses go with Il/Elle (singular)

- Notre/Nos go with Nous

- Votre/Vos go with Vous

- leur/leurs goes with Ils/Elles (plural)

I understand the first 3 (je, tu, il/elle), but I don't understand when to use notre and when to use nos in a sentence. The same thing applies for votre, vos, leur, and leurs. I get that mon/ton/son applies to masculine nouns, ma/ta/sa applies to feminine nouns, and that mes/tes/ses applies to plural forms. I don't understand how that works for nous, vous, and ils/elles. Please help!

Hey guys! A few days ago I got a new betta fish after my old one died. I have a 10 gallon, heated, filtered, cycled (I changed the filter cartridge after my old fish died but I let it run with no fish in the tank for a month or so) aquarium. I wasn't planning on getting a new fish when I went to petco 4 days ago, but I saw this little guy and I knew I had to get him. He's a purple and white elephant ear (?) betta. I named him dumbo because of the breed lol. Anyways, I put him in the 10 gallon tank, and he's doing great! He's very energetic and he always comes up to the glass whenever I stand in front of the tank. The only thing is, whenever I feed him in the morning, he doesn't really notice when I drop the food in the tank because he's too busy swimming around. I had dropped a few little betta fish pellets into the tank each morning, but they always sank to the bottom and blended in with the gravel, which is a sandy yellow color. I just put a few pellets into the and because he hadn't eaten in two days, and he ate them quickly, but it was only because he was right st the top of the water when I dropped the pellets in. How can I get my bettas attention when I feed him so that he knows it's time to eat?

Hey guys! My mom has been pushing me to read 2 of Stephen King's books, Pet Sematary and the Tommyknockers. Are they a good read? Which one would you recommend I read first? Are they really scary? im 14 and I've had my period since I was 13. I soak through a super plus tampon in 15 minutes. i soak through a maxi pad in an hour. I got a diva cup (supposed to last 12 hours without changing) and I put it in correctly and i took it out 4 hours later and it was overflowing with blood (lol tmi sorry). I also get huge blood clots when I'm on my period, and I feel really dizzy and I don't have the energy to do anything. do I have menorrhagia? please help!

I'm 14 years old and I want to buy a thong. I would only buy a couple to wear on special occasions so I don't have panty lines. I would not wear them on a daily basis. I was just wondering if y'all thought thongs are sexy or slutty. also, what is your opinion on push up bras? I have a 750 gallon fish pond in my front yard, and I have been raising comet goldfish in it for years. I was quite fond of a few of them, and one of them was older than I am (I'm 14 and the fish was 16) but recently, I went outside to fertilize the pond lilies and I realized that each and every one of my fish was dead! I was very upset and my dad and I spent a whole day and a half doing a huge cleaning of the pond. I saw something unusual sitting in the corner, and I realized that it was a quarter. I looked around some more, and I found two pennies and a nickel. Is this what killed my fish? Someone must have thrown the coins into the pond when no one was home. Are these coins the reason that my fish are dead?

I have a 10 gallon tank with a male betta in it. I do a partial water change 50% every Saturday, and I clean the filter, heater, gravel, tank walls, and decorations then. I feed my betta four little pellets every morning, and I turn on the top light in the morning when i wake up and turn it off at night before I go to bed. recently, I have been getting a ton of algae in my tank. I have this little skull cave thing along with a few plastic plants, and there is this green algae covering everything. on the skull thing, it looks like moss and grows in specific areas. on the plants, it looks stringy. I'm worried that it will harm my betta. I've had him for a long time and I don't want anything to happen to him. what can I do to stop this algae from growing? also, are there any algae eaters that are suitable for a 10 gallon and that my betta won't harm (preferably not snails because I heard that they reproduce a lot)? thanks guys!

hey guys! I know that it's summer right now (at least for me) but I am already thinking about school, and I will be a freshman! I'm 14, and I started wearing makeup in 8th grade. Normally, I would wear mascara with brown eyeliner on my top lash lines, and Chapstick. I have been set on getting the Naked eyeshadow pallete from Urban Decay for months now, and I am finally gonna get it sometime this week! Do you think that if I were to wear a natural color (my cousin has the pallete and I love the colors sin and naked, it would probably be those most of the time) to special events along with my daily makeup, would it be too much? I love makeup, but I also love my natural beauty :))) I also just got a new bb cream from Sephora the other day. if I were to wear eyeliner, bb cream, and mascara to school, do you think it would look like I'm trying too hard? I really want to make a good first impression. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

I have a light skin tone and bright blue eyes. I have the option to get either the naked or the naked 2 eyeshadow pallets, but I'm having issues deciding which ones to get. for example, I really love the color sin in the naked pallete, but I also really love that the naked 2 has chopper! I don't know which one to get! I'm leaning towards the naked pallete, but I travel a lot and I don't want it to break! HELP

I'm going to sephora tomorrow, and I'm really on edge about getting the urban decay naked eyeshadow pallete. I have heard such great reviews about it, but you could say I'm a bit obsessed with makeup. I LOVE buying makeup (I only wear bb cream, eyeliner, and mascara on a daily basis) but I own everything from bronzer to lip liner to a dupe of the naked pallet. the dupe I have right now is hard candy's naturally gorgeous pallete, and I got it three days ago at Walmart for $6. I honestly hate this eyeshadow though. it has major fallout and the colors aren't pigmented at all. I have to like grind my brush into the shade I want in order for a tiny bit to appear on my eyelids. I'm definitely throwing it away. but, since I just got it the other day, I'm afraid that my mom won't let me get the naked pallete. I got money for my graduation present so I have enough to buy it. I want it SO bad, but I want to know if it actually is worth it before I go and spend $50 on it. thanks guys!

so I was just now texting my best friend and babbling on about how flawless troian bellisario is and she was telling me that troian is hers (lol were not lesbians its an inside joke) and she told me to find another woman and so then I started going on about how beautiful Blake lively is and then I was like "bow down to her flawlessness you peasent" (i was joking) and then she was like "excuse me?" and I thought she was joking so I was like "bow down I say" and then she was like "no you see that's not funny because I will not be your peasent under any circumstances. goodnight" and then I realized that I might hve seriously hurt her feelings so I sent her a gazillion text messages saying that I was sorry and that I was joking (because I was!) and now I'm really worried that she might be really mad at me...she's African American btw but I really was not trying to be racist!! btw I'm white....I was just joking about the peasent thing and I have called her a peasent before and she has just laughed and started joking along with me...did I go too far? she has not responded to my trillion apology messages. help! btw if you do think that I said something mean, please tell me nicely! this morning, I went to Sephora and got a new bb cream from Tarte. The lady at Sephora applied it onto my face, and it works great! however, I have a soccer game this afternoon, and I will be running and sweating a lot, and there's also a chance that it will rain. will the bb cream run if I wear it to the game? should I just remove it right before I leave for the soccer field?

I have super short eyelashes. they are so short and thin that you can't even see them when I curl my eyelashes. how can I make my eyelashes longer and thicker? btw I tight line my eyes with brown eyeliner (Almay intense I-color in brown topaz) and I wear two coats of black mascara (maybelline the rocket volume express) every day, because I look ridiculous without it because my eyelashes are too short
