Especially in the middle of the night. I have noticed if I have a snack later at night I'm more likely to wake up hungry in the middle of the night...but then it's like, do i go to bed hungry or wake up hungry? and sometimes (like the past 2 nights) i wake repeatedly and can eat almost 1000 calories cumulatively before getting up for good the next morning. I try eating protein, I try eating fiber. I really am tired of waking up so hungry I can't sleep, but don't know what else to do.

Addt'l details.~ I am 5'2 and 128 lbs, so I am not obese. my metabolism has always been fast but is no longer equal to my hunger these past years. I have worked to get back to this weight from being pregnant, and I still nurse my child but only once or twice a day, so i doubt that is a large calorie drain

i love to cook with garlic, but as I don't have a mincer and hand chopping takes too much time (for me anyhow). How much of the health benefits am I losing by using granulated garlic, like McCormick?

I'm pretty new to blending essential oils for a specific purpose, although I have long been a fan or aromatic oils. I was wondering if you might give me a bit of advice. My question is this; if I blend Light Tea Tree Essential Oil with, say, the Aloe Vera gel base, would that make an acceptable moisturizer? I am finding since my child was born (and my period has returned) that my skin is breaking out a lot (more than I ever did as a teen!) I have been doing research and am starting to realize all the actually comedogenic ingredients in most facewashes and moisturizers (even those labeled non-comedogenic), and I was hoping this would be a good solution. I used to use Tea Tree Oil on my piercings for it's anti-bacterial properties and I love the smell,

I've been doing some research into the ingredients in my cosmetics due to recent problems I've had with my skin. My moisturizer (clearly labeled non-comedogenic) has as it's SECOND ingredient, ETHYLHEXYL PALMITATE , which is a 4 out of 5 on the comedogenic scale. How can this be? How can it be labeled NON-comedogenic? Isn't that false advertising?

If I had a 250 calorie meal of red beans and rice, and on the other hand a 250 calorie doughnut, is one more likely to turn to fat than the other, all other things (exercise and such) considered equal, or is 250 calories 250 no matter where it comes from?

I have tried "smacking' her hand, and I told her no and redirected her a million times. I even have stopped her and tried to make her look at my face when i tell her (and I think that makes her uncomfortable, cuz she won't meet my gaze.)

I have a sinus infection and am supposed to start antibiotics and a 4 day course of prednisone. My baby just got her 4 month vaccinations today and her pediatrician said I should wait 3 days to start the prednisone...but when I asked why specifically she said there hadn't been enough studies or she had read enough on the subject or whatever (in short, in sounded like a "covering her butt just to be sure" suggestion.) Does anyone know if breastfeeding on prednisone (relatively low dose) after she got immunizations will cause her to get sick or have a bad effect on the efficacy of the vaccines, etc. Informed answers pls. I have an old china set that was my grandfathers' first wife's and I want to figure out what it is worth to sell. It has many pieces. I looked up the name on the back and the fact that it has the gold filigree, but all I am getting so far is people selling pieces piecemeal on e-bay and Amazon. Does anyone know how I can find out what this is worth?
