    Robin's nest and eggs?

We have a robin's nest in the tree next to our upper deck in the yard so we can look right into it and have been watching the amazing process. There were 3 blue eggs laid and one of them hatched a week ago and the second a day later. It has been a week and the third egg is still unhatched in the nest with the hatched babies. Does this mean the third egg won't hatch? If not, what will happen to it? The other two have been growing and thriving beautifully with the mother coming back often brood them at night and feed them.

  • Drug interactions with Phentermine Weight Loss RX?

I am currently taking Percocet 5mg/325mg 3 times a day for my bad knees. I am overweight and am thinking about starting a low dosage of Phentermine for weight loss, most likely 15 mg once a day or once every other day. Is it safe to take them together? Are there any negative interactions? I am exercising every day and eating right and have lost about 23 lbs so far but I wanted a little boost to help my weight loss along a little quicker as I have about 60-70 more lbs to lose. I would probably only take the Phentermine for a month or so. Any info would be helpful. Thanks!

  • Where can I take my cat to get euthanized when I don't have alot of money?

My cat is about 13 now and she is obviously very sick. She has lost most of her body weight so she is very bony. She has lost alot of muscle strength. She is pooping all over my apartment but she also still goes in the litterbox. I don't want her to suffer any longer and I don't have the money to put her through alot of testing, I also don't think in her condition it would be good for her at this point or that she could endure it. I feel terrible but there is not alot I can do. I called my vet and they charge alot of money that I unfortunately don't have. I don't want her to suffer and I also don't want to come home one day to find her gone. Is there anywhere I can take her that does low cost euthanization? I live in northern NJ if this helps. Please be compassionate with your answers, I don't need any negative comments. Thank you.

  • Does Decaffeinated Iced tea hydrate as well as water?

So I recently discovered myself that I just cannot drink caffeine anymore. I used to drink like 2-3 32oz fresh brewed McD's iced teas a day but I just can't drink caffeine anymore so since I love Iced Tea so much, I have started brewing my own Decaf Iced Tea, NOT herbal, just regular decaf tea and a good brand like a British one I like PG Tips or Barry's from Ireland. I drink it all day every day and occasionally drink regular water, hardly ever. Is the hydration just as good as or the same hydration you'd get from water? Please if anyone knows it would be helpful. Thanks!!!

  • Stink bugs...how do I get rid of them??? Please help!!!?

I live in NJ and live in an apartment building of about 30 apts. Nobody else has complained about this according to the super. I am at my wits end! I came home last nite for being gone 1 day and was up till nearly 2am trying to get rid of them all (at least 20!) flushing them down the toilet. Some online articles said to try a solution of Dawn dish soap, water and bleach so I started spraying and more came out!!! They are only on the blinds in my living room and my room. The landlord says "he" sprays around the building about twice a year. I thought it was the law that multiple dwelling (apts) required professional pest services a few times a year at least?? Please help! I can't take it anymore!!!

  • Winter forecast for NJ 09-10? Hopefully more snow?

Can anyone tell me if NJ, more specifically North to North Central Jersey (Cranford area) will be getting more snow this winter?? I am dying for some good amounts of snow, lots of snow! I love winter and snow and it seems to me that Jersey always gets the short end of the stick when it comes to snow. Why is this??? It drives me crazy! I have seen the Accuweather long range winter forecast and also the Farmer's Almanac and both call for an extremely cold and snowy winter for the Northeast but they always focus on "New England" and we all know that MA, CT, PA, and most parts of NY state will get a crapload of snow (not fair!) I want to know more if NJ is going to get alot of snow. I hope so!!! Please can anyone give me good news? Thanks!

  • Why am I always so extremely hot/overheated?

I am 30 yrs old, female, about 5'7" and weigh about 210. I know I am a little overweight but that can't be the only reason because I know people who are alot more overweight than I am and are never hot and actually cold alot of the time. I read it could be something with my thyroid or something. It is just not normal how extremely hot I am all the time. I get overheated and sweat just walking down the street, not dripping sweat, but still sweaty like around my forehead. Obviously, I hate summer and it's worse around that time but even in the winter sometimes I will break a sweat in 25 degrees or below. Let's put it this way, I am NEVER cold not even in the winter. I love winter and dread the thought of summer every year. Someone please help! Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  • What is the longest you can go on worn front brake pads on a car?

My warning light just came on telling me my front brake pads are worn. What is the ABSOLUTE LONGEST I can go before I have to replace them? I am just driving a few miles to and from work during the week. I am strapped for $ right now so I can't do anything right away. I have a VW Jetta '03 if that matters. Thanks!!!

  • Is is safe to take my dog on a long car trip?

I have a Cavalier King Charles and we are driving from NJ to FL and back 5 days later for a vacation. The drive will probably take up to 24 hrs each way. Will he be ok? Is it safe for him? He is a little over a year old and generally loves car rides. Is there anything I should know or do to prepare for the long ride? Thanks!!!

  • I want a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I have a cat now. Important info to know about this breed??

I had 2 cats, one just very recently passed away. I have wanted a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel for awhile but my last apartment didn't allow dogs. Can anyone tell me as much as they can about this breed, important info, health, etc. I want a companion for my cat, I feel she's lonely after losing her friend. From what I have read, Cavaliers are very good all around with other animals, etc. Anything else really important to know? Are they easy to train? Please let me know. Anything helps! Thank you!
